I spoke with a lovely girl who took all…read moremy details and gave me a call out time of between 4pm and 7pm for the following Thursday 10th april 2014 , i informed her that i had to have a precise time for me to be there as it was a holiday home in kerry and was 70 miles away from my main residence.I also informed her that it was imperative that it was done on that date as i had friends coming to the house on friday. she assured me there was no problem. On wednesday the 9th april I again rang and told another girl who was also very courteous that perhaps as they were attending on the following day would they service the shower in the main bathroom as well,she took the details and said she would get back to me . On Thursday i left for kerry and rang tw pierce on route to confirm arrival time ,the girl said i would be called back , shortly afterwards i got a call from a male caller telling me that there was NO SERVICEMAN IN KERRY ON THAT DAY... his flight home from holidays was cancelled !!!!! 2 simple questions .1..WHY WAS I NOT TOLD THIS BESIDES LEAVING ME TODDLE OFF TO KERRY ON A FOOLS ERRAND..2..IS THERE NO STAFF TO REPLACE HIM ????? One out of a world-wide chain of stores, the Lush Cosmetics "Cork Branch" is my personal getaway, a quick-spa paradise. Although I have only visited the tiny store a few times, I cannot help but dub it as one of my absolute favorite spots in Cork; after my first stop in, I was hooked! I had known the name "Lush" from passing one of its U.S. stores in Georgetown (Washington, DC), a few times, but had never gone in. I honestly didn't even know what they sold - any time I passed, all I saw were rows of colorful balls, which I assumed to be some sort of edible something-or-others (in my defense, Georgetown has too many cupcake places to count/some items actually are edible!). A few months later, I was running a few errands in Cork when Lush caught my eye. By this time I had finally noticed the word "Cosmetics" in the title (Georgetown walking traffic never really allowed me much time for window browsing), and I was in need of some new mascara - so what the heck! I walked into the wide-open doors on the corner of Cook and Oliver Plunkett St. Little did I know that I had walked in on International Women's Day. According to Lush, this holiday calls for women to be pampered, and pamper me they did! Although I was finally informed that Lush does not sell makeup, but only all-natural, handmade cosmetics, I was completely taken by their kind and welcoming service: after chatting a bit with the ladies who worked there, I was offered tea and a piece of cake, as well as a hand massage! My wrong turn granted me fifteen minutes of fun company and a bit of relaxing, and upon leaving, I wasn't pressured to buy anything at all! Since then, I have basically stalked the Lush "Cork Branch" Facebook page, and I even signed up for a little event they had going on: for a few weeks, the store offered a skin consultation, face massage and masking, hand massage, and take-home samples for 10 euro; moreover, the money paid was a voucher for any item in the store. I had my half hour-long appointment yesterday, and came away feeling refreshed and content! Not to mention, 8 free samples-happier! Word of advice: visit Lush on a day where you do not have much going on, or at the end of a busy schedule - your mindset will be "Personal ME Day" from then on out!

Michelle listened to what I really wanted and gently advised different styles she felt would suit me. There was no limit to the dresses myself and my bridesmaids picked for me to try on. This made a huge difference to me because as a size 14 I felt limited in other bridal boutiques when most of their sample sizes were a size 10. They offer a payment plan which I thought was a huge plus as the expense of a wedding can be stressful. I can't recommend Cinderella's Closet highly enough. First class experience from start to finish.

They even have a Kids Summer Camp Cooking School. Called there the other morning and met two smiling ladies. Stated my requirements and they moved off confidently to get it. But, believe it or not, they didn't have it. I was told it was on order and would be there in a few days. I think they were more disappointed that I was. Still, I enjoyed my friendly visit. I have been there in the past and will be there in the future. They usually have what you want and provide their service with a smile and a chat.

Didn't expect to see large size rugs there but they had some and had started to take a poke through when one of the staff told me that some 800 were due in the morning. So I thanked him for the helpful info and decided to wait as that large consignment seemed very promising indeed.
