Choosing Corner House Photography was the BEST decision we made. Samantha (the owner) was very responsive the entire process. First off, before I even signed the contract and hired them, she emailed me back right away with a proposed timeline of events. The timeline was slightly off from what I had sent as an idea, and she mentioned shifting everything up to make sure our newly wed photos would be done by sunset. (Something I hadn't even though to look up.) After booking and paying the deposit she kept in contact the entire process. We did an engagement shoot in the same city our wedding was to be held and we worked with Whitney. She showed up on time, was kind, professional, and helped Matt and I pose for the photos. The engagement photos came out perfect and I was so excited for the wedding. Leading up to the wedding Samantha stayed in contact and sent a photo information form to fill out so that we could make sure the photographer knew what photos we needed and wanted. (For example I wanted a picture of me holding my Grandma's crown that she wore at her wedding.) The form also had a place to fill out what the family dynamics were. (Helpful to us as Matt's dad and step dad would not be able to be in the same photo together so we made sure to separate his family for the photos. Samantha was very communicative and sent several follow ups and also had a phone call with me, her, and Whitney (who would be photographing the wedding.) Day of everything was perfect. Whitney showed up on time and I had prepared a box for her with our invites and favors and all the stuff we wanted detailed photos of. She then took "getting ready" photos of the groom and groomsmen and then took them outside for photos together. Then she came back in and took some "getting ready" photos of me and my bridesmaids and mom and then we also went outside for some shots of us together. During the ceremony I didn't even notice her but from the photos I received I can tell she was running around like crazy to get tons of shots even though she was there as the lone photographer. After the ceremony we did all the family photos first and she used her list that we had created ahead of time. Then we did our newly wed photos. As with the engagement shoot she was very easy to work with and posed us and made it easy. Then went in for the reception. She got photos of everything we wanted including a few spontaneous moments that I'm so happy were photographed. Whitney was absolutely amazing. We got a link to our photos crazy fast and they're all BEAUTIFUL! I posted them on Facebook and several people messaged me to tell me that our photographer was amazing. Overall I'd HIGHLY recommend Corner House Photography to anyone in the area needing a wedding photographer. 10/10. Samantha and Lana were an absolute dream to work with! When my husband and I first met Samantha during our engagement photo shoot, she made us feel so comfortable (my hubby wasn't very excited to be photographed). Samantha was able to direct us on how to pose and interact to create the perfect pictures. She works so efficiently and doesn't waste any time, while still capturing EVERY moment. She also was able to advise on the best location for the style I was wanting. I highly recommend that every bride (and woman in general!) book a boudoir photo shoot with Samantha. She made me feel so beautiful and elegant while showing off my veil and wedding night lingerie:). The photos came out so classy and elegant, I'll be hanging them in our bathroom! Samantha and Lana (videographer) arrived early to the venue on my wedding day (yay for overly prompt vendors!). They created the most amazing photos and videos I have ever seen. Samantha was able to command the room and get people in and out of photos quickly while still being respectful and kind. My husband had a little day-of-wedding attitude and Samantha was able to handle him and make him laugh and relax. She truly is an amazing person, which helps make her an amazing photographer. She captured every moment of our day, including a special kiss between my husband and I. I had a couple of requested photos and Samantha made sure to get those photos for me. She was even able to get a whole group shot of my entire wedding guest party! I look at these photos and video pretty much everyday. Samantha and her team shot both my wedding and engagement photos. From the minute I first reached out to her, I knew working with her would be a breeze. She is not only kind, but insanely thoughtful. When planning out engagement shoot, it was a little tricky as my husband was active duty military stationed out of state. Thankfully, Samantha was more than willing to work with us in order to figure out an ideal time, in a small timeframe, for us to accomplish our shoot! The shoot was amazing. My husband and I, very young and slightly awkward at the time, had never done an actual photoshoot so posing was not our forte. During our first conversations, we had planned to do a normal wedding, but several months later, we decided to do an intimate elopement with just our immediate family. Picking a photographer was definitely one of the hardest and most personal decisions for our wedding; that was until I found Corner House. Corner House Photography was responsible for our beautiful pictures of our wedding on November 27th, 2020. They were recommended to us by our wedding coordinator, Coastal Coordinating. Even with COVID, they were easy to contact and stay in communication with. Whitney, our photographer, was at our venue promptly at 1:00pm, starting with taking pictures of the groom and his family. She stayed on schedule, taking bridal, bridesmaids, wedding, and reception pictures. She was unobtrusive, at the same time getting all the important moments. The pictures were delivered electronically two weeks later and were super easy and inexpensive to purchase. Once the pictures were ordered, they arrived professionally touched one week later. Corner House Photography was AMAZING! We had a very casual wedding on the beach and Jacob covered our photography. He was VERY funny with movie quotes and was just a joy to be around. The wind was very strong so it kept blowing things around. Jacob was very patient and was honest about when we needed to take another photo if my hair was in my husbands face for instance. We were told the pictures would take about a month to receive however we got them back in two weeks. When we did receive them, they were WONDERFUL! The lighting was great and we captured SO MANY great shots of our ceremony, reception, and wedding details like the welcome table, cake table, remembrance table.
