Our Collie girl recently passed away, and Simon was gentle, and extremely caring in carrying out his vet duties. Our cat and lab are still alive and kicking and coming up to 15 years of age in November. My animals adore him and I do believe he adores them too. We previously saw Chris at his surgery at Polsloe but we have now been going out to Cranbrook because of the large car park which is much more convienient. Chris use to be a zoo vet. (there are pictures on the wall of him treating leopards etc so I have complete faith in him treating my moggy! Although she can be just as lethal sometimes I assure you) Just like most people who are dedicated to their pets I can sometimes appear a little too crazy about them, but its lovely to go into a practice where they make just as much fuss over my animals as I do. When my cat was in to stay the nurses even picked up on her idiosyncrasies, which made me think she must have got a lot of care and attention for them to know her so well.

This time I asked for a call back immediately after giving me an indication when I can expect him. 10 mins later I get a call from a different receptionist saying they've 'just' received a call from the crematorium chasing a further £10 for the engraving we asked for and then they could chase it?? I was unaware of this £10 as paid everything Cranbrook vets asked for. I am more than happy to pay but why could she still not give me any indication of when to expect him. She then said she was hoping it would be the following Mondaythey would receive him but just wait for a call. we are now 4 weeks and still waiting so I phone the crematorium direct who say they were only called last Thursday (over 3 weeks after he passed) to collect him. Total lies from the receptionist each time I've called as they clearly had him still at the vets. it's so upsetting I am having to chase this and they obviously don't care how painful this process is as they were never actually chasing anything? Poor poor service and still waiting for my pup to come home- I do not recommend

When we drop them off, waving goodbye with a tear in our eye, they don't even look back and are off with the girls for their holiday! The staff and owners are really lovely and friendly, and you can tell they love the dogs! When we pick them up, they are happy and in perfect condition. The fact that when we drop them off, they are so happy and excited to see the girls speaks volumes! Would recommend them to anyone, 5 star hotel for dogs!

The staff are extremely helpful and will go out of their way to make sure you get all the help you need. They will help you with product information so that you get the products that you need and not necessarily the most expensive. The petfood prices are normal to slightly cheaper than other shops and the same goes for the pets for sale. They have clean well kept cages in the shop and the animals appear to be healthy when we were in there. The shop is disabled friendly as it is on one floor, the aisles are fairly wide to allow wheelchair access.
