Friends dog was paralyzed during an operation and they wont accept liability - he couldn't walk after the op and is now paralyzed (had a Luxating patella). Can't even see the same vet who broke his spine... There's no human element. Our new vets are amazing and talk to the animals, make them feel comfortable and call us every chance they can. They even offered us a cup of coffee! (Southmore for reference). Greenbay is nothing like this. They don't like small animals (so i've heard through the great vine). Horrible to cats and small dogs. I also know someone who works here and how on earth they still get business. They're a disgusting, money grabbing vets.

They are always interested and supportive and when the sad day comes they really do care. They are the best vets I have ever come across. They are situated in a quiet road, away from the town centre and on street parking is available immediately in front of their building. I have never had a problem parking there. Some operations are done at their Torquay premises where they have more facilities. They look after the owners as well as the animals.

My animals adore him and I do believe he adores them too. We previously saw Chris at his surgery at Polsloe but we have now been going out to Cranbrook because of the large car park which is much more convienient. Chris use to be a zoo vet. (there are pictures on the wall of him treating leopards etc so I have complete faith in him treating my moggy! Although she can be just as lethal sometimes I assure you) Just like most people who are dedicated to their pets I can sometimes appear a little too crazy about them, but its lovely to go into a practice where they make just as much fuss over my animals as I do. When my cat was in to stay the nurses even picked up on her idiosyncrasies, which made me think she must have got a lot of care and attention for them to know her so well.

I was unaware of this £10 as paid everything Cranbrook vets asked for. I am more than happy to pay but why could she still not give me any indication of when to expect him. She then said she was hoping it would be the following Mondaythey would receive him but just wait for a call. we are now 4 weeks and still waiting so I phone the crematorium direct who say they were only called last Thursday (over 3 weeks after he passed) to collect him. Total lies from the receptionist each time I've called as they clearly had him still at the vets. it's so upsetting I am having to chase this and they obviously don't care how painful this process is as they were never actually chasing anything? Poor poor service and still waiting for my pup to come home- I do not recommend

He said it was the first he had heard of it, I pointed out I had spoken to him. He then said that he hadn't done anything as Vet A was away. I said it was vet B who had done the surgery. That set the tone for their care and competence from that point on. Requests were ignored. Emails were sent with no attachments. VCMS are powerless as it is voluntary for vets, they can set parameters. No apology for the woeful service, paid over £1400 for the cost of her hospitalisation post-spay. CVS head office declined to get involved and said it was a local issue. When we picked her up after three days in their care she was unclean and matted, the ultrasound gel from 4 hours earlier had not even been wiped off, they said they hadn't had any other complaints. Unfortunately I was abroad, but totally distressed when contacted by the vets to be asked how I wanted to arrange transportation of my cat to the vetinary hospital in Bristol to see if there was anything that could be done. Again the wonderful cattery people stepped up and got him to Bristol but to no avail. I have paid all the fees and asked the vets to send in the insurance claim (I also supplied the envelope) ten days later NOTHING received by insurance company.
