I understand that things can happen to make someone be late or miss an appointment from time to time, so I was willing to give it a second try. I called a couple of days later and spoke to her again and rescheduled for another specific day at 9:00am. On that day, I called her at 9:00am and she didn't pick up again. I thought surely this time she would call me back within minutes given that she missed our first appointment to speak. The fact is, it's now been a week and I still have not received a return call. I attempted to use A To Z Tax Services a couple weeks ago…read more I called ahead to schedule an appointment with an accountant named "Huey" for 1pm. I arrived on time, but I was greeted by a young man named James, who I believe was an assistant. He informed me that Huey was still out to lunch. Unfortunately, his extended lunch was more important than attending a scheduled meeting with a new client. James was very helpful and professional in assisting me with the intake of my tax documents. He took my information, and told me that I would receive an email notifying me of any additional documents needed. I went home and waited for the email. After about a day, I called the office. It went straight to voicemail, and I left a message asking for the email I was told I'd receive. Unfortunately, I didn't receive any email, so a couple days later I called again, got the voicemail, and left another message asking for a follow-up. I've received zero communication back. Disappointingly, this was a total waste of time for me, and despite the positive reviews I read on the Yelp.com page for this business, I was totally ghosted by them after investing my time in trying to become a new client of theirs. Unless you enjoy wasting time and being ghosted, I do not recommend this business to any new clients. Update: About a week after writing this review, the owner of the company contacted me. They admitted to everything I wrote. Their excuse for Huey's extended lunch was that he had a stroke, and their excuse for not returning my calls was that they were having a new carpet installed. They then tried to bribe me into deleting my review by offering to do my next year's taxes free of charge. Attached is a screenshot of the text offering the bribe. Trying to bribe a client to pull an accurate review is a dishonest and shady business practice. All the more reason to avoid this place.
