When is a Panini not a panini? Well, when it isn't a Panini. The name "panini" is given to a grilled sandwich made from any type of bread. That's what I was expecting when I ordered their roast beef pesto panini sandwich, with sweet potato fries. It arrived sans grill marks. Whatever. My wife went with their Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap. She really liked her Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap. I showed her my "panini" and asked here "Does this look like a panini to you?" Nope, it did not. Anyway, so what did the non-Panini Panini taste like? The roast beef wasn't bad, but it also wasn't good. It was like lunchmeat. The pesto flavor was very light. It was served hot, but I had to salt it because it was so bland. The sweet potato fries were tasty. They had an unlimited soup and salad bar. The soup was okay, the salad was shredded iceberg lettuce with lots of other things to drop on it. Service was a bit slow for lunch since the bartender was also the waitress. The mens room must have been cleaned - when I used it, there was no smell and the fixtures were clean. There is plenty of free parking and 1 handicap space. The seating was plentiful for all sizes of parties from 2 to 10, there are booths, standard tables and chairs, high tables and stools or you could sit at the bar, a sign saying seat yourself would be nice. The restrooms were convenient and easy to access. The service was outstanding. Our server came right over and took our drink and appetizer order and gave us time to look at the menu. We were there during the dinner hour and there was plenty to choose from. Everything we ordered came in a timely manner, hot, fresh and as we ordered it. We ordered the combo appetizer platter it came with deep fried mushrooms, mozzarella cheese sticks, chicken strips and onion rings. One person ordered the chicken bacon pesto wrap and onion rings, one ordered the chicken strip meal with fries, and the last person ordered bacon cheeseburger meal with tater tots, all the meals came with the soup and salad bar. The soup that night was broccoli cheese and there was a nice variety of salad to choose to choose from. The prices were pretty average for the area. read more

This place has great food, great atmosphere, its one of my local favorite places to get grub and drinks.

The food was very good....but service was terrible. Waitress was very rude! My friend ordered breakfast, toast came out after she was done eatting. Asked to speak to a manager was told no one was there to speak to. read more

I was very disappointed today with what used to be one of my favorite places to eat. Today my wife and I stopped for a bite and ordered the following: My wife ordered a Horseshoe plate which should have been a hamburger with fries and cheese sauce. She got a sausage patty for meat instead of a hamburger and my wife cannot eat sausage. I ordered their Cinnamin French Toast with Bacon. The bacon was over cooked as I ordered it medium and was cold and they tried to Paun off Cinnamin raison toast with powder sugar as French Toast which was also cold and in editable. The waitress staff was also not on top off things causing my wife to have to track them down for a second cup of coffee. Sorry to say I will never go back and I warn others about be the big change for the worse. read more

Owners and all the staff seem like reeeeally shady people.. I use to come here a lot when their wings were a lot cheaper. They upped the price so much and the wings aren't worth the money anymore because of how fast their wings dry out. I don't know what they are doing wrong because I don't have this problem going anywhere else for wings.. but you need to eat the wings in less than 3 or 4 minutes or else all the wings dry out and get hard. I wish they would fix this. read more

Great spot for the wraps very delicious waiters and waitresses are very nice and tidy I respect this place.

This place is a great bar to stop and get a bite to eat. They always have drink specials. The sell .30 wings and 4 tacos for $3. If you live in the area or you are just passing through stop in for a beer. Weekends always has a band or DJ Cuz Cuz to help keep the party spirt up. This place gets packed so get there early if you want to get a spot to sit on the weekend. read more

It's a sports bar with average sports bar food. Very loud sometimes. The service is hit or miss. We have been quite a few times, I think the steak sandwich is the best thing on the menu but they are frequently out of it. read more

Sports bar atmosphere complemented by plenty of tv's. They do have live music on the weekends with an area for dancing. The food is pretty good and the menu has a nice variety and so is the beer selection. I haven't had any issues with the service or the food. Kids can come in to eat but I think they are only allowed up until a certain time. There is plenty of seating along with a couple of pool tables, dart boards and some video gaming as well. The outdoor seating is alright but it's a little loud as the bar sits next to a 4 Lane highway that's relatively busy. read more

Short hop off 88 for good bar food and drinks. Always stop here when taking our kids to or from UIowa. Extra plus to have our college-age, not-yet-of-drinking-age designated drivers along to take over the wheel after we stop ;) Highly recommend for quick tasty bar food. read more
