They just showed up no phone call and when I asked the guy why no call ahead he just looked at me . They never really said two words the entire time they where here until they said we need you to sign here . Then after seating I the chairs I noticed they do not sit anything alike one sits very comfy like the one in the store the other one was very uncomfortable. So I called the store and tried to speak with the manager I was told she was busy and would have to call me back , she called back and I told her my issue she said she would order me another one and it should be there on Thursday this was on Monday . She said she would call me on Thursday and let me know it was there so I could come check it out. No call on Thursday so I called the store around 4 and they said she was busy and my chair wasn't there but they would have her call me back so Friday came and left and Saturday by noon I called back same girl answer the phone and tells me the same story manager is busy and will call me back never heard from her so I called the corporate office and filed a complaint Monday morning and was told as soon as the store opened they would contact them and get back to me waited all day nothing so I called them back at 430 and she put me on hold to call the manager of the store . She then came back and said oh the manager said its been there since Thursday at this point I am not a happy customer and they do not seem to care. Then the girl said well the manager said she will bring it Thursday didn't ask me if it was ok with me at all I said no I work mon threw fri have to be Saturday morning she said oh where busy it will have to be in two weeks at this point I would never buy anything else from badcock stores and I would never recommend anyone shopping with them!!! We shall see if this gets resolved .

The chairs are two different shades of brown and not put together good. when I am sitting in mine seems to run down hill on one side. The chairs are supposed to lay down in half and be flat so it will be sleeper chairs however the chairs doesn't go back as far as a regular recliner. They usually try to sell whole bedroom suites at a fraction of the price you'd find in the store. Additionally they have furniture for about every room in the house, including sofas, occasional tables, entertainment centers, etc. Since it's a second hand type store (not thrift mind you) the selections change, and they do rotate things in from the back warehouse in frequently, so even weekly trips are usually met with something different than the last visit. Sometimes it's beneficial to ask them for something you might be looking for as they might have it in the back or might have it rotated back out of the showroom. Most of the pricing is fairly aggressive, some of it I find on occasion to be off but typically if an item has sat for a while, you might be able to negotiate on it, especially if you get to know the staff. The reason I put this on 5 stars, although the store might not blow you away on your first visit, I've gotten a lot of good deals here, and I find that in comparison to other second hand stores this is a definite stand out.

We've been using Osborne wood slides (which they don't make themselves) for years and high shipping has always been a problem that they can't seem to correct. Order # 728387 was (1) 48" table slide and (2) 26" slides. Instead of taping them altogether (like they've done in the past) and charging us about $75 for shipping, they shipped them separately and charged us $157 for a $400 order! A phone call and 2 emails got us the same answer: "That's the way the computer calculates it" and "(it's your fault) for not seeing that the shipping charges were going to be high." Very dismissive and rude! BTW - We found the same wood slides at another store for less, so we're going to change to them on August 15th if this doesn't get resolved.

First up is a fancy bench cover for the radiator, which is going to have two legs on either end, which I bought from Osborne. There's a few places one can buy furniture legs from online, but Osborne seemed above the rest in terms of variety and ability to search. Not only was I able to sort by style, but also wood type (had to have red oak to match the rest of the wood in the house!), and even the height range I wanted the leg to be. They also offer various cuts depending on how you intend to use the leg, so I opted for them to cut a quarter of the leg out so I could use it on an existing corner. All in all, I was impressed with not only the ease of ordering, but how quick my order arrived (just a few days later, and I didn't even order expedited shipping), and the professionalism of the company. Rarely if ever can I say I have been called after an online order by a company to ensure that my order arrived safe and I was satisfied. Now let's just hope my first woodworking project turns out well!
