The Student Ministry and kids worship is engaging and cover everything from babies all the way through High School. They also do numerous missions trips locally, nationally and internationally. They are inclusive and have Spanish services as well as numerous life groups from men, women , couples, couples with kids, and many more. Common Grounds (Their coffee shop) also makes a great cup of coffee or latte as well. We are truly thankful when we found Rush Creek and call it our church home.

This is an enormous church the resembles an auditorium. Greeters are out front to hold the door for you and make you feel welcome. The church is secure with Police officers watching the grounds. I felt really safe, as I walked in. The officer wasn't on his phone like, many others. He was alert and ready for action. Sunday School was a nice experience. Ladies were welcoming. The teacher helped us understand scripture better, by reading each verse line by line. She also asked us thought provoking questions. Morgan showed us how our lives our applicable to the scriptures. Worship Pastor was the best! He resembled, the Christian Comedian, Michael Jr. He really focused on hearing from God. He demonstrated Hebrews 12:10 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus the author and perfector of our faith. He performed not for the audience but, for Jesus. The sound was crystal clear like the Omni Theater! The Worship Band performed my current favorite songs, such as Holy Spirit, Do it Again and Promises! The drummer was a female and she was as good as Suzette Quintanilla! ( The sister of the late Tejano legend, Selena.) Pastor Jason Paredes was well spoken. He had a subtle Spanish accent but it was cute. It really worked for him. He was also dressed to impress. He told us that he had a sermon ready to preach but, the Spirit was telling him to tell a different story because, someone needed to hear it. Pastor JP delivered his sermon without missing a beat. He spoke about how to pray in the name of Yeshua and delivered a compelling story about sharing your faith. I was so moved by his preaching, I began to weep. I had an encounter.The spirit spoke to me and told me, I need to witness to particular person, who is Agnostic. Pray for me, Ya'll. This is a safe nurturing environment. A spirit lead Church with an incredible Worship team and Staff. It's a must attend!

The Pastor is real, down to earth, makes valid points with a fabulous sense of humor and he is constantly referring to the Word of God. And if you don't have a bible, or if you can't get to the scripture fast enough, they have the passages on the big screen as he goes over each scriptures. I felt loved and when I returned, they actually remembered me. If you visit, I promise you, you will know you're home.

Just recently this past Sunday morning there was a young girl who was having a seizure during the…read moreworship songs. People cleared the row of seats to help her and aid her until paramedics arrived and took her away. But i want to emphasize that while this was happening, none of the worship team stopped to do anything. Didn't stop to turn the music down or even address the situation. Nobody said anything. It's like nothing happened and we are just going to ignore that any of it happened. My friend witnessed that and was scared and as a follower of JESUS and as a church why would we just stand around and not do anything? I know we can't really do anything physically but I would have at least expected the worship team to stop and pray and assure that everything is okay for the people in seats and to quietly or openly pray for this person. I was hoping to expect to see at least the worship team pray over this individual and comfort those involved. It was just unsettling for me to witness how nobody of the worship team or any of the campus pastors wanted to addressed what just happened or pray or anything while this happened was all happening

My wife, granddaughter, and I went to the Friday 5:30 service at the church. My comment is about…read morethe opening song from Bon Jovi "wanted dead or alive". Why would a song with those lyrics be acceptable as the opening song at church? My recommendation is to have Christian related songs that gives praise and glory to the One who took our sin upon Himself so we could be saved and spend eternity with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
