The church is small enough for everyone to know you, and you are quickly part of the family. You'll be warmly greeted and greatly welcome from the moment you arrive. But I think the most important thing I can point to is the difference it has made in our lives. Adults grow more confident and joyful, but the impact on our kids has been the real phenomenon. We invest very heavily in our kids, because they hold the future. We pour teaching into them and prepare them to approach life confidently in ways I haven't seen anywhere else. For example, we typically send 18-20 teens to summer camp at CFNI, at the church's expense, which is no small expense. Not just our kids, but their friends and cousins and such too. We send preteens and smaller children to a related day camp, and when our kids age out of the teen program, many go on to attend as adults assisting the older leaders during the camp. This has gone on for more than 10 years, and many of our youth have even attended CFNI as students. My own son became our youth leader for five years, as several others have done previously. We also have youth takeovers about 4 times a year, where the youth deliver the service, leading praise and worship, even delivering the sermon. The confidence we routinely see in our youth is amazing. Three youth or young adults each teach a third of the sermon. Have you ever seen a shy 14-year-old girl stand in front of a church full of adults and confidently preach for 25 minutes? I know where you can. Many of our youth volunteer to run the sound board or video systems or play in the band or sing. Some learn instruments there. If you have kids, you know how the world tries to pull them away at every turn. Come and see what it looks like when adults pour God's Word into their kids, preparing them to stand upright and face the world. The change will astound you.

This is an enormous church the resembles an auditorium. Greeters are out front to hold the door for you and make you feel welcome. The church is secure with Police officers watching the grounds. I felt really safe, as I walked in. The officer wasn't on his phone like, many others. He was alert and ready for action. Sunday School was a nice experience. Ladies were welcoming. The teacher helped us understand scripture better, by reading each verse line by line. She also asked us thought provoking questions. Morgan showed us how our lives our applicable to the scriptures. ( The sister of the late Tejano legend, Selena.) Pastor Jason Paredes was well spoken. He had a subtle Spanish accent but it was cute. It really worked for him. He was also dressed to impress. He told us that he had a sermon ready to preach but, the Spirit was telling him to tell a different story because, someone needed to hear it. Pastor JP delivered his sermon without missing a beat. He spoke about how to pray in the name of Yeshua and delivered a compelling story about sharing your faith. I was so moved by his preaching, I began to weep. I had an encounter.The spirit spoke to me and told me, I need to witness to particular person, who is Agnostic. Pray for me, Ya'll. This is a safe nurturing environment.
