I am a busy mom of 3 but I find the need to post my review on this daycare. If you care about your children please do not send them here since we had a bad experience with this place. My children were at this center for over a year. There are some staff who really cares about the kids but most of them are just there for the paychecks. After our bad experience here, I did a lot of research on the other daycares and visited numerous ones nearby. My kids are happier now after we switched them to another childcare center. Unlike Conerstone, the staff at my kids' current daycare are more attentive, and caring. They do a lot of activities and worked on the kids' fine motor skills, sensory and also language. The center itself is not fancy but very clean and hygienicI am very happy that I switched my children from this place. If it were possible to give 0 stars I would. Here's a synopsis of why you should NOT contract CCC for your children's services. On March 6th 2020 my child was badly hurt while in their care. They called me to notify me that my child was hurt, however upon asking on details i.e., where/how etc, none of the supervising teachers could tell me definitively and precisely how she go hurt. As a matter of fact they all (owner, supervising teacher, helper teacher) gave different accounts as to how my child was hurt. My child was 3 at that time and could not elaborate how it happened. The center sent notifications on March 13th that it was closing down due to COVID. I asked the owner for a video of the incident that same day (March 13th). I was told to go back to the center when it reopened and review the video. This already smelled bad since the center was closed for attending children and not to accommodate me as a concerned parent for 5 mins and show me the video. When the center reopened on May 15th, the owner claimed that the evidence no longer existed i.e., the video was no longer available. In frustration I called the NY state division of child protective services and I reported the incident, something I should have done right away! Please use the "Search for Child Care" tool under the NY state Division of Child Care Services. Locate Cornerstone Childrens Center and note the violation of October 8th, 2020. This in relation to my own child. You will see clearly that Violations were found and they have not been corrected as of this writing. Furthermore, the center did not provide child care services mid-march (March 16) through May 15th yet they billed all the parent for the month of April and did not even discuss any refunds for half month of March. Attempts to refund half of March and full month of April as many other centers had already done were ignored by the owner Marion Anderson, her business manager Barbara Luciano and the main accountant Candice Lynch. I fought this part through the help of my credit card company and I won the dispute. However, they are refusing to provide refund of the $500 check deposit which is stated on page 3 of the CCC-Registration-Application-RevDecember-2019.pdf document available on their page. It states that a 6 weeks advanced notification warrants full refund of the $500 deposit. The center is run by an unscrupulous owner whose sole objective is to lock in that monthly $1975 fee without any concern for the safety and the progression of your child. The typical clients here are people that overwork in the city, without any other alternative childcare who unwillingly become slaves to the unjust and corrupt Cornersone Daycare Center. Once they (owner & staff) smell that you are in dire need of daycare you're reminded that as little as a small complaint can warrant your child to be thrown off the program. Furthermore, your child will be 90% of the time indoors smelling a musty air, playing with toys on his/her own since they do not care for the children and do not have outdoors playground space to breath fresh air and see the sun. Please take my advise and do NOT send your child to Cornerstone Childrens Center unless you want to be here and write a similar review. read more

When I registered my son at this daycare my neighbor was telling me that her son also went there and was not happy there. But after they changed the daycare, he became a cheerful boy again. I ignored her advice and sent my son to Cornerstone regardless. It was one of the worst decisions I've ever made. The owner cares only about money. They send your kid home from a simple cough at their discretionary although the pediatrician said it's safe to go to school and nothing contagious. If you are a minority, please make sure you kid is not in Ms. Shanez's class. She is only attentive to the white kids but not to the minorities'. My son did not get attention in her class and was being ignored. He cried so hard and was reluctant to go to that daycare everyday. At first I thought it was because he was not used to the class. Then I found out the main teacher Ms Shanez was discriminating against him. I believe people put their kids in that daycare mainly because of the ideal location. Now my son is in a different daycare and is a much happier boy now. I felt so horrible putting him in Cornerstone for a year! read more
