Rob was the only one to respond positively to my request. Several businesses did not respond and another said my job was too small. Rob answered in a timely manner, requested more information and several photos to evaluate the job. He came up with a plan and costs that fit my budget. Set a date for work and he was on time and ready to work. Also had a few smaller jobs he was able to do for me at the same time. Very pleased with his work ethic along with what I felt was a fair cost for labour and parts supplied. I will be calling him again when I need future work. Definitely a person to contact for your projects.

They explained every single detail of what he was going to do and why. they were very professional, attentive to detail, and easy to communicate with. They went the extra mile to make sure everything was done nicely and get the best results. The price was very reasonable too. The skylights turned out to be better than I expected. The led light inside the skylight was super cool and the sun tunnel was such a nice surprise light up the whole room. I am extremely happy with the result. Our GC hired Beaches Skylights for their expertise and ability…read moreto install 2 top hinge Velux skylights in the fall of 2020 onto our roof that was being completed. They accepted the job and completed the installation in less than half a day. It was Brady and his co-worker. While Brady was very friendly and talkative, he did not communicate anything further to our GC or roofer on how they should proceed in order to ensure a top notch skylight installation. Sadly, they were not installed correctly. The top hinge was not engaged to put them in their intended mode. They were not square and whistled on windy days. I thought the windows were faulty so Velux inspected the work and told us Brady's work was sub par and prone to long term water damage. You could see daylight coming in from the large gaps at the edge of the windows. We were told the only way to fix it was to remove and reinstall. This was communicated to Brady. His solution was a bandaid job with weatherstripping. They continued to whistle and remained prone to water damage. We sealed the windows on the inside with tape to stop the whistling noise. We gave Brady many opportunities to own and resolve his poor work and he fell woefully short every single time. He shifted the blame to others, including our GC and roofer. He even told me that someone stood on his work and moved both windows so that they were no longer square. If the installation was done properly I am told that it is impossible to move the windows with body weight. He could not prove to me that his work was completed to Velux standards. It became our problem. We were finally able to have a work crew onsite and reinstall the skylights at a great expense. This crew pointed out the many issues with Brady's installation. Important metal braces to secure the skylights were not used. Instead, 2 wood screws in each corner precariously held the skylights in place. Proper flashing kits were not used. Do your due diligence and scrutinize referrals and reviews posted by Beaches. It is very difficult to hire someone to fix improperly installed skylights. I highly recommend that you avoid Beaches at all costs unless you want a saga that will last for several years.
