For the initial quote I met with Behtash Adib. He was punctual, professional and took the time to answer any and all questions. While deciding on the scope of the job Behtash was consistent with prompt responses and information. The basement waterproofing was done by Ade, Shy and Vandyke. During the project they noticed a potential problem in the same room unrelated to their work. The team notified me and even paused while they had a specialist stop by and check it out. This was above and beyond and extremely helpful. The second project was my front steps. Over the years the cement steps cracked and started to settle into the ground. The concrete repair team fixed this quickly, with excellent results. Andrew and Russel took the time to confirm my expectations of the job and answer any questions I had. Before booking with groundworks I read only stellar 5 star reviews, and I am confident in saying they are all well deserved.

I hired 1000997409 Ontario Inc. (Rhage Contracting) for a project involving drainage work, grading,…read moreand window well installation. While some of the work was completed, portions were not. Specifically, only 2 out of the 3 agreed-upon window wells were completed, even though the contract specified that all window wells would be addressed. Additionally, the final portion of the project--which included cutting concrete and installing a fourth window and its window well--was not started. Despite paying the required deposit for that portion and all required payments on time, the work was not done, and no refund has been provided even though it was agreed to. I've reached out to address the matter three times but have not received a response or resolution. I recommend that others carefully manage payments and confirm progress in writing at each stage and not pay any final amounts until all work is complete. This review reflects my personal experience with the service, I will not be recomending them to anyone I know.

The escavation company he was supposedly using for our job has no record of our job and is not booked. He is not reliable, not efficient, obviously does not give a crap about other people and is probably in Mexico where he claims to have another business. If you are somehow still talking to this guy about a job, run and run fast. We have dove a little deeper into him, which we wish we would have done sooner. He has done this before and will do it again. If you have outstanding work or have paid a deposit already you are likely in the same boat as us. if you ever encounter the name Curtis Gillen turn the other way. I have many choice words for this man but will keep it classy. Just hope that others will see this and not have this happen to them. All the best Curtis, hope Karma will eventually come your way.
