The samples offered led us to the best combination to take home. I had to have a bag of the cinnamon beignet with honey butter. My boyfriend brought home the trilogy of the spiciest flavors offered! Very unique flavors like sweet potato pie and butter cookie, loaded potato, honey bbq, peach cobbler, root beer, pizza, pickle, naptown, and SO SO many more. This store is located in the foresaken Washington Square Mall. The staff there is very friendly and helpful. They have a wide assortment of Popcorn, they have something for everyone. I got three small bags (lemon cookies, white chocolate cashew, & honey butter) and they were delicious. I wanted the lime popcorn, but they were not sure if it would be good or not. The woman behind the counter tasted it and told me that she could not sell it to me because it was not good. That is the sign of an honest business. Be aware, they do charge 2.5% fee on all credit card transactions. Boooo!! But it is an upfront fee and well posted before you purchase. It is a shame that they are located in Washington Square Mall, but it is still worth a visit read more

This place has every flavor you can think of and probably some you haven't thought of: green apple, almond butter rum, butter pecan, spicy nacho, peanut butter, and many more. They have their version of the caramel cheddar classic; but instead of individual caramel and cheese mixed together, each kernal is coated with both caramel and cheese in one-or as they will tell you, the two flavors are fused as one on each piece. They offer different sized bags as well as the gallon tins. If you can swing it, the best deal is the tin for one price up front and then you can take it back for refills at a very reasonable price. There's a very nice gentleman running the place. When they are making the stuff, the smell fills the corridors of Washing Square Mall. If you're in Target, you might think it's coming from the Target cafe, but it's not. Head out the doorway to the mall, keep walking ahead, and Cornival is on the left. This place is definitely a hidden gem! The popcorn is unique and amazing. The store is located inside Washington Square Mall. At first we had a hard time locating the store, but we made it okay. It is a small store but packed with so many popcorn varieties. You will literally have to come back several times to make your way through the assortment. We decided to order the caramel popcorn and cheddar popcorn. I had my parents with me so they weren't in the adventurous mood. Overall great concept and I will return! read more

I went to Cornival back in the spring and forgot that I had signed up on SpotOn. Today I visited and bought 15 bags of popcorn, for my employees Christmas gifts. My daughter reminded me that we had purchased refillable buckets and asked if I got my free bag. I did not. Maybe next time. This place is awesome and the owners are very friendly. Staff is awesome, they let you try samples before committing to your purchase. The prices are very reasonable and you can mix it however you wish. I recommend White Cheddar and Butterscotch. the Black cherry is great, but the dye is horrible. Your hands, mouth and whatever else you touch, will be covered in the color. read more

I love love love love Cornival Popcorn. I have worked in service my entire life, and when I say I get excellent service every time here, I mean it. When you walk in, you are welcomed with so much warmth and good smells. AND you can sample how ever many flavors you want!! Most popular flavor is Caramel, which is one of my favorites. My favorites: Pon Farr Ghost Chili White Cheddar (very spicy, crazy kick, lovely cheddar), Cocoa Chocolate (so sweet, so yummy), Salt & Vinegar ('nuff said), Sour Cream & Onion (so good), Spicy Nacho (goes unbelievably well with the Caramel--no lie), and Strawberry Creme (more like strawberry dream). They cycle different flavors every week or two, and I believe they are reasonably priced for their sizes, flavors, service and hospitality. You can't help but come in excited and eager for the next best flavor and come out with a huge smile on your face and a very happy tummy. Awesome place. Awesome awesome awesome. read more

The service was outstanding meeting our needs for popcorn for 200 guest. They even gave us a complimentary bucket of butter popcorn for placing a large order which our guest devoured also. I recently was a vendor at a wedding that had a popcorn bar from Cornival. The smell was so delicious that I had to find out where it was from...I'm a HUGE popcorn fan. When I found out the store is located on the East side of Indy I headed straight there. The gentleman that helped me was perhaps the kindest man I have encountered in a LONG time. How does this awesome little shop not have more recommended reviews?! It's tucked back in a strip mall so I can see how it's hard to miss, but it's worth the effort. This popcorn is delicious. The ghost chili white cheddar is just the right heat level for a good bite, but not so much that you can't enjoy it. I'm excited to try his other spicy flavors. In addition to a small bag of the ghost chili we got a one gallon bucket of a mixture of some of his other flavors. I'm kicking myself for not getting the two gallon!! We had the cheddar, caramel, birthday cake, and sweet sriracha along with the regular butter popcorn at my daughter's wedding. The popcorn was a hit. The quality of this product is better than any other place in town, and the prices are way better as well. We bought the popcorn in the buckets, and had little left. Customer service is still alive at Cornival Popcorn. Their flavors are addicting once you try them. Handy cans are available in 1, 2 and 3.5 gallon sizes if you need more than a bag. I was in Indianapolis visiting family and we went to Washington Square Mall. I am a lover of popcorn. I don't even share my popcorn at the show. I walked through the door by Target and could smell this delicious popcorn coming from somewhere. I started walking around the mall trying to find the shop. I found it, Cornival Popcorn. They have over 100 flavors. I got the cheese and caramel and it was sooo good. I also tried the lemon pound cake, which was dessert in a bag. Watching your diet, get the plain popcorn which is just as good. The price was right and the service was EXCEPTIONAL. I got a new popcorn shop. Looking into getting it shipped. read more

I tried to support Cornival. I bought their bucket several times. You buy a bucket at full price then come back and they fill it up for half price. The owner seems like a nice guy. But if I'm going to drive to Cornival I expect them to be open. At least four times over the past couple of years I've made the drive to Cornival only to find out they weren't open their scheduled and posted hours. The last time we got there a half hour before closing time. I noticed when we pulled into the parking lot that someone went into the store so I assumed they were still open (remember, half hour before their posted closing time). We got our buckets and walked to the door but it was locked. We thought it was a mistake so we pulled on the door a couple of times. All the lights were on and I could see the guy inside. He paid us no attention. A young lady in a car in front of the store got out and asked us to wait. She knocked on the door and asked if we could come in. (Remember, we're standing there with buckets in our hands. Obviously we are there to buy popcorn.) I assume she was there to pick him up or something. He hollered something, and she turned to us and said, "Well, he's already counted the drawer, so you'll have to come back." What??? It was 6:30 PM. Their website and Facebook and sign on the door says they close at 7 PM. Yet he'd already locked it all up and counted the drawer which meant he probably closed it down around 6 or 6:15. At least this time we got some kind of response. The other times I'd showed up and they were closed nobody was there and the store was dark. Some might say I should have called before coming over. If the weather had been bad like it was last year in Indy I would have called. This was a nice clear day, no snow no rain no nothing. So that was the last straw. I hear they're having tax problems and I'm real sorry about that. Maybe they would have money to pay their taxes if they STAY OPEN THEIR SCHEDULED HOURS. Too bad. Great popcorn.
