With his biblical teachings coupled with his personal testimonies, wisdom, and discernment his message is powerful, moving, and motivating. In addition, with many others of the church that share their spiritual journeys, along with special guests as well allow for significant spiritual growth and life-changing transformations to happen. I feel that my life feels more gratifying. satisfying, more peaceful, more loving, grounding, forgiving, and really my eyes consistently focused on God because of the difference the San Diego Rock church has made in my life. The San Diego Rock church is great for spiritual growth as well as connecting with like-minded people, but it's how you decide to live your life once you leave church on a daily basis. So many people have transformed their lives for the better, not perfect but improved due to continued spiritual inspiration that the San Diego Rock church represents. Pastor Miles and Pastor Travis speak biblical truth, as do all the Pastor's of The Rock. God is a constant. God doesn't change just because society has. The worship is Holy Spirit filled! The times I walk in feeling down, teared up and message speaks to me and I'm encouraged. Walk in during service and you even feel a rush of wind hit you as you enter the sanctuary( Holy Spirit) the breeze way, is a welcome as you join the service. People will pray with you after service if you need prayer. The Rock may be a large church, but This church has many small groups you can be part of bible studies or activity based groups and find community. There are many volunteer opportunities which are fun and many events to be part of. The Rock has regular food/provisions for the people of San Diego and has been a large church since I've known and been part of to care for the people of San Diego county . Has groups for married people, groups for young adults, parents, singles, etc. Teen camps, and young adult events are lively and well attended. The church has many other church locations/extensions locally in San Diego and Hawaii. I love that there is the "third option" We put our trust in Jesus, and not focus and get pulled into the things of the world and how those things may be trying to make us divisive of each other. I've attended other churches since living in SD but this has been where God has my family and I for the past 7 years. Thank you Jesus for this Church our faith and relationship in Jesus has only grown stronger .

We stopped by the welcome booth, where a friendly couple gave us a brief overview of the church and answered our questions with a smile. They even gave us coupons for free coffee! After the service, we enjoyed a delicious coffee (worth over $5) at the on-site cafe right next to the church.

The staff members are very friendly and loving people. I admit, yes, at times the courses are pushed on me for a sell, but I do all the courses in my own time. I decide when I have the money and time I am never pressured. I have received great value from the courses I have taken thus far and the courses have greatly helped me with challenges in my personal life. I have taken many, many personal development courses, John C Maxwell, Jim Rohn, Les Brown, Eric Tyrell, to name a few. By far the Scientologists have the best information on the subject. I have taken "The problems of work" and "Fundamentals of thought". Look up any products or services. The head pastors Jurgen & Leann are both such visionaries. I enjoy all the pastors sermons. I've been healed from medical problems in this church. I have volunteered in kids church in the past so I know the great child care they have. It really is a church for your whole life and not just Sunday. The space was decorated in blue. They maximized the space by fitting all the vendors in the path to food and festivities. We stopped to look and jewelry first, then dog treats and bought raffle tickets for a chance to win a trip for two to Greece. We were met by a waft of deliciousness. It was hard to decide what to get but we settled on some classics: Dolmades, Spanakopita and Moussaka. My favorite part was watching multi-generational dancing under the canopy. We finished the day with Greek iced coffee and Loukoumades. So yummy!

I felt like I was being welcomed into a wonderful community. Father Andrew likewise was so friendly to me. Prior to the start of the service, he walked up and greeted me, asking me where I am from and a little bit about myself. He seemed like a great priest and spiritual advisor. The sermon - given by the deacon - was so good. Clear, scripture-based and impactful. The church was full and the community is quite diverse - and they all seemed to know and genuinely like each other. My sincere congratulations to St. Spyridon and my deep thanks for a wonderful service. All of the community members should be proud of the loving community they have created here.

Sunday morning mass at Saint Brigid Parish in San Diego, California…read more.. This Catholic church was recommended to me by a Yelp friend. It was a good experience because I recognized the songs, appreciated the traditional stained glass windows, and marveled at the fresco-styled mural of The Stations of The Cross. Instead of 14 separate Stations, all 14 events ran into each other as a continuous happening. One of the ladies at the church saw me looking intently at the mural and she explained that the artist was a friend of the priest at the time. This friendly woman pointed out that some of the figures in the mural were modern - since they were wearing jeans! Very interesting! The free parking lot was spacious. I think it wrapped around the building! It was decorated with gardens and courtyards filled with benches, sculptures, and beautiful plants! If I were in the area, I would attend mass here again. The woman told me that the music changes at each mass. For example, the music at the later mass is done by the youth group and involves different instruments - instead of just the organ at the earlier mass.
