I was also looking for a safe, clean & loving environment for her to be at full time, 5 days per week, 8-10 hours per day, so I could rest assured each day...knowing she was in the BEST hands. After meeting the Director Mrs. Gracie & getting a tour of the facility, I just knew this was the place for us! Gracie is the most warm, welcoming, nurturing woman I have ever met. She immediately helped my daughter get comfortable while I toured. She is a natural with the kids. The entire staff is this way! Gracie knows how to hire the best of the best. All of the teachers know my daughter and greet her each day, sometimes with hugs. They do this with ALL of the kids that attend the school. Your child is not just a number, the staff knows everyone by name. It is by far the best feeling when you drop-off and pick-up! My daughter has learned so much in the last 3 months of being there. The daily schedule is so organized and the fact that they stick to the agenda so well amazes me. The teachers have postings to show you what your child learned each day, what they ate etc. The school also has amazing after-hours celebrations/parties for holidays and other fun things! They work SO HARD to keep the students and parents happy. It feels like my second family when I arrive. I am always welcomed as well, as the parent. Another thing I love is if you have any concerns, Mrs. Gracie is so easy to talk to. And understanding. She doesn't get mad or offended. She simply finds a solution and treats you just the same afterwards. That is such an important attribute when it comes to your child's needs and your expectations as a parent. They even allow prospective customers to do drop-in tours etc. They have nothing to hide because they are always on-task doing amazing things for our children. My almost 3 year old started here in spring 2018. Things were starting to get desperate for the time we needed care for our kid, and we finally found this place. As soon as we walked in, my husband & I thought it felt like "us". We got along with the director, Miss Gracie, immediately. We explained our complicated situation (full time for ONLY a month, with a consideration of continuing part time in future if we were happy with how things were going), and she was understanding (lol, she even knew why - because my parents were going on vacay to the Philippines). We toured the establishment, and our son did not want to leave - a great sign! My son had a bit of a hard transition into preschool, and still doesn't love being dropped off. Not a surprise, as I was the same way. But, I dropped in to observe him quite a few times in the beginning, and saw how much fun he was having. That, in addition with the reports from his teachers the first couple weeks, made me confident that we'd chosen the right place. He immediately started speaking quite a bit more. He's now more social at playgrounds as well, instead of just hanging back and playing by himself. He's learned SO MUCH in his short time there. While he still doesn't love being dropped off at school, he talks about school often at home, about what his teachers taught him, and what he did that week with his friends. After the 4 week full time stint, we decided to keep our son there twice a week. It's a great balance for us to be able to provide our son much valued time with my parents and preschool. My husband & I are so thrilled to have found Wee Care in Chula Vista. I don't know if we can express how happy and grateful we are with everyone that works here. In fact, I think I'll have my husband bring bagels for teachers when he drops off our kid next week ;)

My son was potty trained in the first week after we had tried three failed attempts!! My son has always been cared for and watched by the patient loving teachers. The teachers are great at communicating and fixing any problems. There are fun family events throughout the year. They school can be very flexible with if you need more or less childcare as schedules change. Hours are anywhere between 7:30-5p and tuition is less than I found at most places in the area.

One thing I really appreciated is how they separate children by age and readiness, which helps each child grow at their own pace. They also celebrate holidays and allow families to celebrate their child's birthday, which made the experience feel very special. When it comes to education, Ms. Patty is one of the best teachers I've ever met. She is incredibly dedicated and makes sure every child is learning at the highest level possible. My daughter had to repeat her class due to her October birthday, and I was worried it might set her back--but it was the opposite. Ms. Patty provided more advanced and varied work for students who were repeating, so they wouldn't have to redo the same material. I truly respect her commitment and care. She does an excellent job preparing children for kindergarten. My daughter entered kindergarten ahead of her peers and felt confident from day one. Of course, like any daycare, there can be small interactions between children, but the teachers are always approachable and willing to help resolve any concerns. The center is gated with a code required for entry, which gave me peace of mind. Although it may look like a house from the outside, it is very much a structured facility inside--which is exactly what I was looking for. Overall, I highly recommend this daycare, especially for new moms who may feel anxious about leaving their baby for the first time. If you have a little one, I definitely suggest checking out Baby Angels.

I had been hoping and praying to find a daycare that had later hours since I am a single working mother. It seemed all the other daycares were closed by 5pm. I recently relocated out to the San Diego area and found a job quite quickly but the daycare piece was much more difficult than I expected. After scrolling thru 30 daycares in the list that came up near the zip code I had placed in the drop down I had almost given up hope. Something told me to go one more page. And I did. Lo and behold there was Little Learners Daycare. They have extended hours til 9pm at night and they are open for weekend childcare. It was a Godsend. I could have cried I was so relieved and happy to visually see a possibility. I immediately reviewed their website and sent a message. Even though it was 9 to 10pm at nite I didn't want to lose the opportunity. They responded quite quickly the next day, (even though they were on a scheduled vacation.) They made time for me that Monday. Well, that Monday arrived and I went and met Mayra, Wil, Mayra's mother who said she loves to also cook for the children homemade meals. And also, the sister as well. They were all warm, welcoming and kind. The place is an in home daycare with a traditional preschool feel. A big backyard with grass, a teeter totter, enclosed trampoline, one of those toddler kid houses. My son went wild in the backyard. He adores being outdoors. She allowed him to enjoy himself while he was within eyesight while I was touring. I was very impressed. Overall, my son has now been there for several weeks and his speech has improved. He is happy when I pick him up and proudly tells me what they did that day and what he learned or who he is now friends with. It has definitely made our relocation more stress free to know he is in loving hands and his growth is a priority at Little Learners. Highly, highly, highly recommend! Oh, and side note: they just made forky from Toy Story 4 this past Friday. My son was actually holding the little clay figure when we went to In N Out that evening and the worker handing us our food and shake squealed in delight and mentioned it to all her coworkers because she just thought it was the coolest. I wanted to take some time to provide a thoughtful review on this program as I pulled my child for…read morehis own safety. I want to preface this with: I am a member of Eastlake Church. The church is fantastic, and the kids program there for during church services is GREAT and this review is ONLY pertaining to the Eastlake Children's Center preschool which is run M-F. I was very eager to enroll my son in this program. I had heard so many amazing things about this program and it was an added bonus that we love our church. I even provided paperwork to this program when my son was approximately 1 year old (they don't take kids until they are 2 but I wanted to ensure we were not waitlisted as I had read that they were such a popular program). My son finally was enrolled this July for the 2024-25 school year. When he started he was fully potty trained. As school started it was clear there was some new school year kinks needing to be worked out regarding organization and teachers. I tried to remain positive and provide grace when a new teacher I had never met would be giving me my child without an ID check. My son immediately had potty accidents. More than when he started training. I thought this was simply because there are no potty's in the classrooms as typical 2 year rooms have at most programs. Assuming it's just a distance to potty adjustment we proceeded on. However, my son started hitting himself and yelling at himself in the potty when he was home saying "YOU GO POTTY IN TOILET NOT POTTY IN PANTS!" then would hit his leg. He's never behaved in this way. It broke my heart. I spoke to Ms. Jeanette at the front about how I think the teachers may be yelling at him and stressing him out about the bathroom here, and it's affecting us at home. They started making me put pullups on him (which we have NEVER done). The accidents never got better. I could never talk to his teacher because his main teacher was only there from 830-12 with him. Because he was a full time kid, I would be picking him up from different random teachers all the time. Some wouldn't even know which kid was mine when I said his name even thought he had been at the school a month at this point. About 2 weeks into school I picked my son up (again from a random teacher I've never met the 2 weeks prior to this) and he had a huge scrape on his forehead, as if he had fallen head first on cement. My son has been in a daycare setting since he was a baby, so I am aware that I should be getting an "ouch report" anytime there is an injury of a child, even if they are unsure how it happened. Once they see an injury, they need to report when that injury was noticed. At his last daycare I would also get a phone call for any head injuries. I got nothing here. However, it's only the 2nd week of school and I just let it go and chalked it up to the new school year situation. New teachers etc. About a week and a half later I picked my son up and he had a scrape on his nose that was bloody and thick. I didn't say anything to the teacher at pick up because when I gave the name of my child I had to point at which child he was for her to know who to give me. (again terrible security and no ID was checked). If she doesn't know my kid by his name, she def doesn't know what happened to his nose. No ouch report. Since I was already waiting to hear back from the director via email regarding my request to meet with her, I decided I would bring it up then. Then, the very next day my son had yet a THIRD scratch on his face with no ouch report. As I walked out I stopped to talk to Ms. Jeanette (I think she's the assistant director?) and I told her this is the 3rd time in 2 weeks my son has bloody marks/scratches on his face with no ouch report. All she said was "yeah you should have an ouch report" and that was it. I was hoping for "well let's contact his teacher and figure out what's happening" or "maybe we can ask the teachers to see if they set it somewhere besides his cubby" or "I will talk to the teachers and figure out what's going on" but she didn't seem to care at all. She took no worry to this. Again, I've had my son in daycare settings for a while, so I am not one of those overly paranoid parents, but the lack of concern for my son's safety, especially regarding facial injuries frequently over a short period was alarming. I immediately pulled him from the program, and reported them to state licensing. My son had been in school there only 1 month. During the time I enrolled him officially in February 2024 until the day I pulled him from the program there were THREE licensing violations- one of which was a teacher physically abusing children and another was a teacher leaving a child alone on the playground!
