My reason was to ask to speak to the front desk police officer who I can ask him to file a police report with a woman tenant who was physically assaulted because she was punched in the face once and the second time she was slapped in the face by this same mental ill woman tenant in this independent living home that I am currently the House Manager. in managing right now at this present location. I don't blame the San Diego Police Officers because I have a better understanding of what their responsibilities are about since I have to do the same things they do in me having to deal with mentally ill people who are not taking their medication. These mentally unstable individuals ; when these crazy people are off their medication these people's behavior turns out of control and does escalate into a very violent episode. The situation was I was not able to file a police report because the victim this senior citizen woman only had one bruise on her face. This front desk police officer told me the victim needs to have a lot of (black and blue bruises on her face) and on her arms too. And also the victim has to be threatened by the suspect with a weapon like a knife or a gun and that weapon has to be found at the residence at the scene of the crime. I believe this is a good police department because even though I wasn't able to file a police report with them , I was given good information. The information I was given was a case number if I wanted to go through the San Diego Courthouse System to file a Restraining Order against this senior citizen woman suspect I would have to fill out the paperwork packet at the San Diego County Courthouse and then me and the victim would have to go through this long process to try to file a temporary restraining order against this woman suspect of physically abusing another senior citizen. It's a very long process. Their front desk police officer was very professional towards me and he gave me excellent customer service.

I took an Uber driver because it would be much faster for me to get there. I had limited time to choose this San Diego Police Station at this Central Division. The appearance of their police station building looks good. ISSIE was the only police officer working at the front desk yesterday afternoon. I asked Essie , what is the process of going a police report ? Essie told me that the VICTIM whose my woman friend when this crime happened to her in June 2025 when she is explaining to the San Diego Police Officers who came out to this Aging and Independent Living House where me and my friend is current living , she needs to tell one police officer that (she wants one of these COPS) to press charges for a serious crime test was committed that date and this elderly woman wants a police report the day it occurred. Because if this victim (Michelle) doesn't ask for a Police Report to be done at the scene of the crime ,when that incident happened, the San Diego Police Officer will think my woman friend doesn't want a Police Report filled out because she isn't taking that crime seriously. Then my friend Michelle said to Essie that she needs to use their bathroom Essie said to her; their restrooms are only for their employees to use and their restroom is not open to the public. In summary, Essie answered all my questions about the police report process and she did give me this information on driving to a different San Diego Police Station at the Southwestern Division that I will drive over to sometime next week. Officially, it is there because the OB Police storefront was closed a few years back & this is a way of keeping some kind of "police presence" in the beach area. But many others think it is bogus and needs to move. According to a story in a recent Peninsula Beacon newspaper, this Police trailer was put in place in 1999 and supposed to have been only temporarily situated there. But the years dragged on, and the Police Trailer is said to house just a cop bathroom and a break area for police to kick back and write reports. Many in the Ocean Beach community begrudge the cops their blue trailer for taking up precious parking spaces in the always crowded lot and feel the cops should move it over to Robb Field--where there is more room and just as much crime. The big news is a citizen has filed a complaint against the trailer and now the Police Dept. is having to get a permit to park it in the lot from the California Coastal Commission! So because the Police Trailer does provide some kind of "police presence" in the parking lot area where druggies and penniless vagrants roam free, I gave it 3 YELP STARS. But I also deducted 2 YELP STARS due to the trailer being a view-blocking, parking space-clogging eyesore that rubs it into the faces of OBceans that THE MAN is always watching them. Maybe the Coastal Commission will deny them a permit and they can haul the trailer somewhere else. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
