The Coronation Club is kind of like an RSL club but without the annoying pokies. You need to sign in on arrival and if you live close by you need to be a member. I had dinner there with my partner, parents and relatives from the UK on Australia Day. It was particularly quiet which made for a pleasant meal. A few things on the menu weren't available but there was still plenty to choose from. The menu is split between French Mauritian food and modern Australian. Everyone enjoyed their meals and ended up full, except my partner who ordered the seafood and veggies which didn't come with any rice or potatoes or chips. But that left room for an amazing chocolate mud cake with ice cream! The service is good and the staff cheerful. read more
