I'm so grateful that my online research led me to Gaida. She has helped me find my true voice and taught me proper placement so I no longer strain my vocal chords. I now have a fun regiment of warm up exercises that I do on a daily basis and before every audition and performance. She also has a beautiful singing voice, and has helped me reach notes I thought were gone forever. Katya got my friend well and back to his marathon running again in no time and I was impressed by his fast recovery so when I injured my shoulder I knew where to get a referral. Katya's work exceeded my expectations. She spent at least an hour in each 1-on-1 very personable sessions altering the routine as needed based on my progress and gearing it towards my ultimate recovery. She motivated me to keep up with the exercises when I was falling behind and was always there for me to answer any questions along the way, no matter how silly I thought they might sound. I recently completed a therapy course with MVMT and Mark Lusk, and could not be more satisfied with…read morethe experience. Marks level of insight and expertise were excellent, and the overall experience was a new one for me as pertains to physical therapy. I have been through many facilities for different recoveries and they all felt like I was getting a mediocre training session at a gym for hurt people. The sessions with MVMZT by comparison were done in a private room in a 1:1 setting so I was the full focus of the therapists attention, not one of 3 a therapist was running between at most places. My overall pain in the area has been reduced by therapeutic treatment for scar tissue and mobility in the area in the office sessions and my strength in the affected knee has been significantly improved after the strengthening program I was given at MVMT, both in office and at home prescribed workouts. I could not give MVMT and Mark Lusk a stronger recommendation, he is absolutely world class.

Since I did not know any better, I followed her suggestion. It's on me to for not insisting I see the one recommended to me, but I figured she would know best since she works there. I have never been "wowed" by any physical therapy session and unfortunately felt the same here. I had high expectations because this office bills out of network so they are expensive. I was looking for meaning where there wasn't any to convince myself these sessions were worth the cost. I became leery after repeated minor issues which I believe to be signs of something larger. Examples included my PT arriving late to a few sessions and telling me she would send me follow-up notes or exercises but never did until I followed-up to ask for them. I learned later that my therapist and the receptionist are siblings. Due to Covid, there was a natural break and I stopped going. To my surprise and skepticism of virtual appointments, I found a fantastic PT who made me realize I didn't know what I wasn't getting until I found it.

They were very painful and it hurt to run. Other PTs told me there wasn't much they could do and that I'd just have to live with the pain. I also went to see an orthopedist who recommended surgery. Before I decided to go that route I figured I'd give PT one last shot and luckily had Erica as a PT. She was able to fix my knee and now I no longer have pain and can even run without pain. She is someone I recommend to all of my friends.
