The snow was coming down before we began our trip. Cindy our driver, and Glenda our concierge, were not only a fantastic team but made even the nervous passengers feel at ease. Glenda came around with candy for everyone and had a little trivia to pass the time for the up'ing travelers. Traffic was so backed up, because of the weather, but Cindy maneuvered around the traffic and got us to the show on time. It was wonderful to be dropped RIGHT at the door. The snow continued while we were at the show. When we came out, she was again Right at the door. How convenient! Especially with all the little "Elsa's" not completely dressed for the weather. We had to wait to start the snowy trek home. There were 3 passengers missing for quite a while, and Glenda went on a hunt for them. She and Cindy were patient and polite to the absent passengers, and Cindy attended to us waiting patiently on the coach. Cindy was an EXCELLENT driver and made everyone feel very safe. The driving conditions with crazy semi's zooming by was nerve wracking, but Cindy handled it with ease. Glenda brought the Frozen DVD to watch on the way home. It was a great distraction for anxious passengers and the tired young uns. When we arrived back, Glenda helped people clean off the 3+ inches of snow mounded on their vehicles. Cindy waited in the coach with passengers while their cars warned up. WOW....these ladies were impressive!!! If I could give 10 stars I would!!!

Why take a cab when you can get on the Metro directly from the airport exit and go to downtown for…read more$4 instead of $45? I'm really not sure why more don't use this. TransExpress offers a $27 roundtrip shuttle service to and from the downtown area. You can pick it up right near baggage claim area. Some downtown hotels have an auto pickup returning to Lambert, and some you have to call the shuttle for your departure, but it is great, easy, and reliable. Of course you can also take the metro for much less, but if you have heavy luggage it is easier to take the shuttle in my opinion. But then, maybe I am just lazy or showing my age....I just don't like schlepping my bags around that much any more!

It was $50 round-trip for my friend and I. $25. each. The shuttle ride to the hotel was great. No problems at all. The driver was very nice and even slowed down so I could take a picture of the St. Louis Arch. I didn't even have to ask him. He saw me bring my camera out and knew that is what I wanted to do. Very nice. It's the shuttle ride BACK to the airport that has got me so mad. The shuttle was supposed to pick us up at 8:15am according to their information. Our flight left at 10:15. This would give us plenty of time to get to the airport, get checked in, go through security, etc. Well by 8:25 it still wasn't there. I called and the woman told me it was on the way. By 8:35 it STILL wasn't there and one of the people waiting for the shuttle had a 9:40 flight. He was getting nervous. There were four of us standing out there in the cold waiting for the shuttle. By 8:45 I called to tell the woman that we were going to take a cab because we needed to get to the airport and I expected a refund when I got there. She instantly took an attitude with me to inform me there were no refunds and the driver was running behind and would be there soon. I said WHEN? She said, he's downtown. Well that's vague. I told her that we were all concerned about getting to the airport on time, etc. She was extremely rude to me so I got mad and started complaining and she HUNG UP ON ME! Absolutely, positively, unacceptable. Because it took us forever to get to the airport by cab, get checked in, go thru security and get to our gate I did not have time to go to the Trans Express desk to demand my money back. So I am expressing my anger with this company here on Yelp and I will be sending a letter to their company as well. Unfortunately, that does not give me my money back, but it's all I can do.
