Some people may not realize, but when life really overwhelms you, it can cause disarray in areas of life such as your home & to have someone come in and lift a load and help you get upright is a blessing! Yes you pay for it, but I am that much closer to peace in my safe haven. Phillip took his time on my 1 bedroom apartment today. He went over time and I wish I had a million more dollars to send. I felt so bad because I had clutter everywhere. Clothes all over the bed. All in the corners. I had papers all over the counter top and dining table. I had books and schools supplies scattered in the living room. Every shoe was there to greet you at the front door. The place was a hot mess!!! NOW, The place smells wonderful. I love the vacuum lines . The sink HAD hard to remove mess and it's sterling silver now. The microwave and oven are clean. He folded my clothes for a small fee that I'm sure many of us will pay over and over. Nobody likes folding clothes. It's sooo irritating. It just looks like a nice place to be. She and another lady arrived to complete the service on time. She emphasized on arrival that they were heavily booked today and seemed a bit anxious. I thanked her for scheduling me. Out of respect for their time, I showed them around quickly, and they got to work cleaning. I left the house with my dog for a bit, though they said we could stay to minimize interference. Within an hour to an hour and a half, they were done. The cost was $140. When I came back, everything looked okay at first glance. However, later, I found debris still in the corners. The water was dirty when I mopped my floor a week later. For context, I have a tiny dog whose paws get wiped on entry. I don't wear shoes in the home, and I work out of town and am out most of the day on the days I'm home, so there is not a lot of foot traffic in the home. I'm unsure if the home didn't get the attention needed because of their busy schedule or because it stressed her, but attention to detail is critical in the cleaning business. If proper attention can't be given to a home, it's better to reschedule than leave the job somewhat undone.

My realtor was impressed at how thoroughly the home was cleaned and said it smelled fresh. Later, I was told that the buyer was extremely impressed and grateful for how thoroughly the home was cleaned. It was worth every penny we paid-- and by the way, her price for a move out clean was on par for this level of service!
