Highly recommand Cory to deal with the toll charges. He was able to reduce my fee to fraction of what it was.

Todd was able to find that the government had made mistakes and that they had attempted to cover them up. In a hearing over the course of several days, Todd was able to prove that the government had failed to disclose the evidence he had discovered. Ultimately, the Judge granted his Motion to Suppress and my case was dismissed and expunged. He kept me informed and let me know what was going on every step of the way. He really put me at ease the way he took care of my case.

Todd not only helped dismiss this case, but he also helped remedy other related criminal issues. Todd helped carefully navigate timing and disclosure issues and I strongly believe his guidance on the production of mitigation materials, character references, and post-charge/pre-trial reformation steps was critical. When I hired Todd I was certain my career and professional future was in jeopardy. Todd achieved the optimal outcome, and he did so quickly. At every stage Todd communicated thoroughly and quickly. I never felt out of the loop on what to expect or what the best course of action was. Having spent a tremendous amount of time with lawyers, I can confidently say he is one of the best. Situations like mine are simply not worth compromising on the quality of representation and there is no other criminal defense attorney I would recommend to anyone.

While on bond for a manufactured felony robbery (I had four grand on me when they arrested me so…read moredidn't need to steal, and even though the store tried to make it look like a robbery by not processing the transaction the items never made it outside anyway) I got arrested for a misdemeanor assault and criminal mischief. I had 15000 on me when they arrested me that time, and even though bond was set at $5000, I was not informed until after Chip sent his associate to come see me in jail. I still owed him 20 of the $40,000 fee for the felony...and the associate collected the 15 I had on me toward that when he visited. Even though he did not quote me a fee to represent on the misdemeanors the fact of an attorney visit of course implied he was trying to get me out on the charges relevant to why he was visiting me in jail rather than his office. I'd already been there a week and heard no mention of bail so took his silence on the matter to mean it had been waived on recognizance. Surprised the hell out of me that I was assigned a public defender in the days it took me to get to the phone at a time when I could reach Chip because I sorta doubt I'm eligible. But this whole ongoing fustercluck continues being an unimaginably obnoxious waste of taxpayer money anyway. I was assigned a public defender, and remained in jail for 60 days even though I'd had three times what I needed to make bond with me--and it's still not over. Writing this review now because there won't be any chance to do it if these misdemeanors Chip seems determined to let destroy the felony case (in which one can't help but notice he's using an associate to shield his own win/loss ratio) do what they've obviously been intended to all along. Despite the misdemeanor judge (Linda Garcia) setting my bond promptly after I was arrested, she and the public defender (Eugene Newsom) did not advise me of my bond until about a week after Chip sent someone to relieve me of my bail money -but not represent me-. In summary I do agree with the other reviewers that Chip knows exactly what he's doing. Whereas it's their fortunate privilege to offer that as a recommendation, from my experience thus far it's a warning.

He was able to get it reduced to a misdemeanor, I only did 3 days in jail, and the whole case got handled way faster than I expected. That honestly made a huge difference in my life. What really stood out to me is how he still showed up years later. I reached out 6 years after everything was over just to get a copy of my case, and he replied within like 5 minutes and helped me right away. That kind of responsiveness is rare, especially that long after the case is done. He's reliable, straight to the point, and actually cares. If you need a lawyer who gets things done and has your back, he's the one.

I chose him based on reviews that claimed he could handle difficult cases and genuinely cared about his clients, but that couldn't have been further from what I experienced. After driving 4 hours for the appointment, my sister, my 3-year-old son, and I waited about an hour before finally seeing him. The consultation itself lasted less than 20 minutes. He simply looked up my partner's A-number and repeated information I had already given him over the phone. Before I made that long trip, he had assured me he could help with this complicated case. Instead, he looked at us and said we didn't look wealthy enough and that I should save my money because we were going to need it. That moment was shocking and deeply hurtful. He never even asked what I did for a living or discussed a fee--he just judged us based on appearance. I own a successful commercial renovation business, but he never cared enough to ask. To make matters worse, he was eating crab rangoon during the meeting, getting crumbs on his shirt, answering phone calls, and sending emails while we were trying to talk about one of the hardest moments of our lives. It felt dismissive and disrespectful, as if our situation didn't matter at all. I met with another attorney afterward. He made no false promises, but he treated us with respect and said he would do everything he could to help. The difference in how we were treated was undeniable. Please don't respond by saying I never had an appointment. I have photos, call records, and proof of the appointment. I hope this review helps other families know what to expect.

I am leaving this review as I should file a complaint with the Texas State Bar. I opted to allow…read morethe public an opportunity to read a public complaint as the State Bar will likely be dismissive... no need for Mark to "set the record straight on this one, as I've obtained some very telling text messages from him I could add to this review --if he'd prefer. My experience with Mark Moracsh was marked by rude and unprofessional behavior. Communication felt dismissive and, at times, condescending, especially when asking for basic information about the case. In addition to the poor interpersonal conduct, there were serious performance issues--missed deadlines, lack of timely updates, and inaccurate filings with the court. These are fundamental responsibilities of any attorney. Clients should expect both competence and professionalism. Unfortunately, I experienced neither here. Mr. Morasch made decisions in my case without my knowledge, consent, or approval. As a client--particularly one who is knowledgeable about legal matters--I expect transparency and collaboration, neither of which were consistently provided. There were also basic errors in filings. In at least one instance, he incorrectly identified me as the defendant when I was the plaintiff. Additionally, he filed discovery without my authorization, and the timing of that filing was late, resulting in a change to a scheduled hearing date. More concerning, Mr. Morasch entered an appearance in a separate matter after I had explicitly instructed him not to do so. Despite clear direction, he proceeded anyway. When I raised these issues directly, his response was dismissive and unprofessional, stating, "I don't give a shit." Overall, this experience reflected a lack of attention to detail, poor communication, and disregard for client direction. I cannot recommend his services.

What type of "Lawyer" posts all their clients business on the web? Someone who is feeling guilty & wants to deflect the attention of himself. A trash lawyer to say the least. He rushed my case and didn't treat me like a priority at all whatsoever. As soon as I made my last payment to him to start he showed his true colors. Making racist remarks regarding my case. Thankfully now the case is over. I had to seek out another lawyer who explained in further detail my options (which Mark never did) and got me an amazing deal as I had NO PRIORS NO FELONIES. He also went on to say Mark should've been able to get me a better deal if not thrown out COMPLETELY. Again beware of the pompous pig.
