As a New Yorker who swears by thin crust, this thick, airy, Sicilian-style like pizza is a totally different beast, but I definitely understand the appeal. The Fugazzeta was a completely new experience for me. It's essentially a heavy base of dough and infused cheese buried under a massive layer of onions. It's rich and delicious, but the classic Mozzarella slice ended up being my favorite, perfectly balancing salty cheese with a slightly sweet tomato sauce. Come hungry because this pizza is no joke; it is very heavy, and two slices will easily fill you up. First of all, we don't put potato chips on a pizza, but here, they do for the Americano pizza. For the most part, the pizza here is similar to "American Style" pizza like what is served in the USA. Opinion about what's the best pizza and where the best pizza is depends upon who is making the claim for pizza and where that person is. Some will either like it or not like it. I liked their pizza, but it's not the best pizza in the world. Their prices seemed reasonable for what they have, and they are cash only. If you think that you can put it on a credit card, don't. They take cash only.

As mentioned before the vibe is great and remember your in Argentina so you need to slow things down a bit. Food will take awhile but then again that is pretty normal in most places in Buenos Aires. People really like to take their time, hang out and enjoy each others company. Hey when in Rome folks.... Strike up a conversation with the person next door and chill, you just might have a good time and make a friend! LOL. So we ordered a number of individual pizzas, hamburgers and empanadas and all were excellent. One recommendation as with most places in Argentina is to UBER in the evening and walk or bicycle during the day if you can. Street parking is available but if you are not used to driving in Buenos Aires, it can get tricky here so better to just use easier modes of transportation. Prices were very, very affordable as well but they usually are as exchange rates are sitting around $250 - $350 ARS to $1US so go ahead and snack on! This pizza, despite its huge dimensions, was very light to eat. Service was kind and welcoming, flexible with our requests and patient with our language barrier. We ate inside, and although it's a very welcoming environment, I would probably choose to eat outside next time, if it's summer. The road is kind of quiet, so if temperature allows, I would definitely go for it.
