Unfortunately some other Long Island stone suppliers sometimes refer to hard marble as quartzite and in the end, the fabricator and their client gets hurt because they are left with countertops that underperform. I am not sure if this was a dismissive comment or an observation. Nevertheless, Jay or Wil never made that comment. Jay had a plan drawn up in two days. He was extremely patient with us as we made changes to his original plan. I was a bit nervous when he quoted the price. I liked the price but I was concerned about the quality at that price point. The quality exceeded our expectations and we have received tons of compliments on the cabinet and countertop design and finish and the layout. We also had a bar installed in place of our Thomasville cherry china cabinet. Jay also helped us pick out the best countertops for these applications. He gave us samples of the cabinets and countertops to take with us to finalize our decisions. All in all, I recommend DC Cabinets and Jay.

He had me come in and inspect the slabs that I had picked out. He wanted to make sure I was happy with the slabs that I was given before he started to cut my counter. I asked about sealing the granite. He assured me that I didn't need a professional to do it. It doesn't make sense you can do it yourself he said, trust me! And he was right.
