They take temperatures and insure you as well as everyone else wears masks - I've heard them remind people to put masks over mouth and nose. They also had been remodeling and gotten new equipment in late 2020. It's a friendly environment and has nice equipment - a variety of aerobic machines, track, basketball courts, indoor pool, new weight and pulley machines in December 2020, weights including barbells, kettlebells plus dumbbells from 5-120 lbs.

Positive - Clean facility, great pool, decent basketball courts, good indoor track, no lines. If…read moreyou are a local resident, t's VERY CHEAP!! Negatives - adult staff is rude and uninterested in any sort of customer service. All remaining staff seem to be teenage kids with no form of managed structure, proper training and interest in working at all. You hear "No" from the management staff and "I don't know" from all the rest - if you can break into their conversation among themselves. Keep a close eye on any valuables. There are cameras, but no one is ever looking at them. Many areas are unsupervised. Note to management: every person there needs customer service training and all of your employees need to learn what is offered at your facility or simply remove them from the front desk. You don't need five of them at the front desk anyway.

I was invited to their auction, Skylines and Sweets, and it was wonderful- although I was surprised it was a dry event. I think people bid more if they've been drinking too. ;) It was fun to learn about all that Camp Fire offers for kids and does for the community. And the auction items were wonderful- trips, experiences, jewelry, etc. I'll definitely attend their next event.

We enrolled our child in this operation's British Summer Soccer Camp. I would suggest veering away…read morefrom this messy organization. They promised a soccer ball and t-shirt upon enrollment but neither were provided. Our child was introduced to the start of camp hunting around for a spare soccer ball on the field. The fiasco escalated from there: Bullies were rampant among the children and coaches. Coaches apparently pick kids as their leads and these kids were throwing other kids' shoes into the garbage with comments like, "Ha ha, makes a good basketball!!! Ha, ha, ha!!!" while the coaches sat back and did nothing. To make things worse, kids were even throwing other kids' food into the garbage, laughing "Ha, ha, ha!!! Too bad, so sad!!!" Coaches were kicking balls into the forest and making children hunt for the ball. One kid even went up to another kid and smacked him in the back of the head during the finale of a camp get together at the end of the session. Rather than teaching soccer skills -- dribbling, aiming, passing, strategy, proper athleticism, etc. -- this whole operation turned out to be a theatrical nightmare: Coaches were speaking gangster talk -- literally screaming out some "Yo, Yo, Yo, Whaas up!!!" lingo -- and teaching kids rap dances while their team leads brutally harassed other children with comments such as "Move it!!! What are you looking down and quiet for Joey!!!," "Hey you, wake up, and make it snappy!!! I said now!!! Does anyone smell poop around here!!!" Needless to say, so much for the term "good sportsmanship." And what about the promised soccer ball and t-shirt for enrolling in the camp? Coaches promised a delivery of additional equipment during the day's camp session(Never happened). At the end of camp, we asked when the equipment was arriving: Coaches responded with a vague, "Oh, they'll be here tomorrow. The are some extra balls we can inflate for your kid. You'll be all set." Inflate what? Used, worn soccer balls?
