I just love these guys and this is my go to liquor store!…read more I'm an avid tequila connoisseur so I'm always on the hunt for a quality tequila selection and this place has it. And when they haven't, they have happily ordered what I've asked for and have kept it on hand. The guys are also very knowledgable about the newer liquors on the market and always stock the harder to find vodkas like Figenza. One fun little gem is when they have tasting events in the store and if you give them your email, they let you know about their events that are coming up. I've walked in on a few tastings and as a result have walked out with new spirits to add to my home bar collection. Great wine selection too!

This has been my liquor/wine spot of choice since many other places have either been closed, or not…read morehad great service in picking up spirits. During Coronavirus time, they have created an intricate system of helping customers get what they need. This included a wooden barrier with a hole to speak into, a rotating wooden delivery system that you can put payment into, and after they process will give it back to you with the items you choose. They are in good spirits, and will help you choose what you need. They wear gloves and masks, and speak to you over the speaker system they have created. I found my High West Campfire here, as well as the other wines we needed to stock. However, a few more times after coming in, the service has been rude to me, and scolded me for lingering too long, and also I have found other places with better prices around the area.

Did you know Sangiovese from Emilia Romagna is better than from Tuscany? I think so and this bottle did it for me. It's a must try.

Walked in looking for an italian wine but the budget was anything under $17. I asked the sales…read moreperson on the floor if he could direct me to the Italian reds section. I peruse everything on the display and the most expensive bottles were within eye sight level, i noticed Amarone and Barolo starting at $48 and up. Clearly, this was out of my budget, guy at cashier area recommended the $50 and above bottles, of course he said they were good. I asked if they had any wines under $20, he pointed to the floor and in the very bottom, i found single bottles of reds. It was more like one of kind samples of items not very popular. Among them, i noticed a bottle of Piemonte Barbera 2010. From what i read on the internet this is a wine that goes for $14 online. However at this store it was $15.99. The area where i found the wine, had a bunch of other wines but some had no prices. Walking up to cashier, he said the wine was $17.99. I told him that is not what the label stated. The floor sales person stated it had the wrong price on the shelf and he corrected the cashier. Cashier person did not like that and he kind of had an attitude. I was going to just walk away but it was a 2010 vintage, so i had to assume is a pretty good wine and it gives me a chance to try it while staying below my budget. The description on label reads 13% alcohol level, the wine has notes of dried black fruit, earthy spices, long finish on the palate with balanced acidity. I only walked into this store because i was next door at dollar city picking up junk food. The lack of customer service and the attitude from the cashier were extremely poor. While the sales person on the floor was a lot better. Most certainly I will not be coming back. My to go spot for wines in Joe Canals but that is jn NJ. Which explains why when i visit Joe Canals, i walk out with cases of wines to fill up my wine refrigerator and my credit card charge is anywhere from $175 to about $550 ( specially during the holidays) With that said, I hope the management of this store is aware of the terrible service the employees are providing and perhaps that is the reason why people do not come back to the store. If anyone is a wine fanatic, i recommend Leiser's jn flushing Queens. Very good customer service, excellent prices, great variety of wines from Greece, Portugal, Spain and Italy and you can certainly find good wines for under $15 that are top contenders.
