I was here for the Fuel Station and did not have a need to go into the warehouse. I was hoping to get out of Illinois on this tank of gas but couldn't quite make it, so I was here paying an extra 20 cents or so per gallon thanks to the higher state taxes in the Land of Lincoln. Oh, well. Like other Costco with fuel, the gas pumps are located. Unless you have a massive vehicle, you can use the pumps on either side as they have very long hoses that will reach across most cars. Prices here are lower than other gas stations in the area because your fuel is "subsidized" by your Costco membership. When you get to the pump, scan your membership card and then your credit card. I pay for a membership to this business but every time I enter the store I have to be accosted by one or two salespeople near the front of the store. Store has inconsistent product inventory and locations. Lack of signage for stock moved to sale locations and employees unfamiliar with current inventory locations. That seems to be the result of following the everything on pallets store philosophy instead of having a real store layout. Checkout is generally swift but they offer no bags of any kind. Then after paying and the products legally belong to me, I have to wait in line so that a Costco employee can pretend that they're checking my receipt against my cart contents. Then they deface my receipt with a marker assuming I never would have cared about being able to read the receipt later. read more

This store serves a college town with a big Asian community, so I expected better selection--especially before Lunar New Year. Unfortunately, many Asian products (even regular staples) were missing. I hope the store can improve their stocking and better support the community during important cultural holidays. read more

I've been a member for over 30 years. Loved the team in tire center, always helpful and make every effort to go above and beyond. Customer service in "returns" is slow, at most 1-2 reps no matter how long the line is! 1/2 the time the representatives seem lost, have a look on their face as if they're doing you a favor & the supervisor was rude and condescending. They need better training and better customer service skills! read more

I'm just losing all patience for their membership tactics. It is annoying enough to have to wait in line just so someone can pretend to review the items I already own, but now I have to get extra hassled at the register too? They're now making people show their driver's license, interrogating your credit cards, and who you may have with you at the store. On my last trip, a manager ended up walking away with both my phone and my driver's license to...I dunno...confirm I wasn't deceptively patronizing their store??? I have a business account with Costco, and due to their ridiculous rules I can't checkout and make a business purchase and a separate personal purchase. They're forcing me to make a single purchase. I also can't have an employee go to Costco and make a purchase for the business. Oh, and the one reason that I first joined Costco was for their acclaimed amazing appliance deals and "white glove" installation services. However, I dealt with several of those and they all came with headaches, so I'm not sure what people are raving about. read more

Finally! This Champaign Costco has everything you'd expect from a Costco anywhere else. Conveniently off 74 at the Neil Street exit, you drive by a Costco gas station and into the large parking lot. Inside, there is a pharmacy and optical center. They also offer luxury handbags for sale which is not always found at other locations. Well stocked with items and the lines at checkout have been short, even on opening day. There are both staffed check out lanes and self-checkout lanes. The food court is located inside. Limited offerings right now due to COVID so options are: vanilla soft serve, infamous 1.50$ hot dog and soda, whole pizza, and chicken bakes. read more

I have used Costco gas in many places across the country and at this particular place It was clean and well attended with staff a available to help you in no matter what type of situation you may need. Costco in general has very good covid-19 practices in all their staff were masked as well. The quality of the gas is excellent especially for the price point that they ask for and if you need to use premium gas it's a really good value. I recommend using Costco not only for the quality of their goods and their gas but how they treat their staff and give them a livable wage with healthcare and benefits I always want to support a large retail Box store that does that type of thing read more

1/4/2025 1 pm so sad, first time at this location, got membership and was not standing in line, it told 35 minutes, why ??? They said i get a discount from where i worked and hi said yes then did not give it to me. no signs to location where is the cr*p search for to ask a employee and took 20 minutes great food venders got my (poor selection) food went to self service, item did not ring up right, so push button for service so light was flashing to my right was 3 workers not even 8 feet away, gabbing 5 workers 15 feet to my left, so after 10 minutes i asked the workers to my right and they said just a minute lol, they walked off after gabbing more 10 minutes i then walked up to the 5 workers not doin sh*t, and they said the same just a minutes, they keep gabbing, then after 8 minutes one came up. order 2 dogs, and asked where are the condiments, and she said they dont have any, lol ordered at the same time from the kiosk a whole pizza, order number 281, waited 24 minutes and whole pizza orders after me got there pizza's 295,301 and 292, so totally the workers dont go in order. so will i go back again, LOL my money spends just fine to other stores. and yes this is 100% truth. read more

I purchased 4 expensive tires for my Ford Expedition. I had to park in a adjacent lot after walking around the store and walking back in the store. I was told that it would be an hour-1/2. After 2 hrs i contacted the tire dept and they said it would be 10-15 minutes for sure. 20 minutes later I looked through the window to see that my vehicle was done. No one was working on it. After another 10 minutes I caught the eye of "lead man." He came in with the keys, but again I had to walk around the store to retrieve my vehicle. My wife's car needs tires but I have no inclination of returning to Costco. read more

The employees are rude at best, indifferent and inattentive is the standard, their name brand stuff is sub-par, and their prices and variety don't begin to compare with Sam's. Cannot thank Costco enough for helping me solve my tv dilemma. I have owned Sony Bravia tv's for the better part of 20 years. Purchased a 75" Sony Bravia Nov 2021. Was never pleased with it because it was always grainy. It would distort peoples skin and pixelate many things. Opened multiple cases with Sony and even sent video and pics of the issues to no avail. Their result of each case was that it was within parameters. Very frustrating few months. Finally called Costco concierge and they connected me with Sony and same results. Contacted Costco concierge once again and asked what my options were and they said to contact the store I purchased it from. So, I did. Thank you to the manager Dustin, who was amazing to work with. He paid me what the Sony was selling for at the time. Returned it and with the help and amazing patience of Jarvis, I purchased a Samsung OLED. So impressed with those two and the overall service there. The picture on the Samsung is absolutely amazing and the sound through my sound bar and subwoofer even improved amazingly. Definitely will keep using them know that my particular tv had an issue, when Sony wouldn't help at all. Thank you guys! read more

Costco has much better produce quality than Meijer, the gas prices are usually the lowest around, and their return policy is great.
