Decided to drop by and fill up on my way back to the hotel from Suncoast since you can't find top tier gas anywhere cheaper than Costco. It's ridiculous how much cheaper gas is in Nevada than it is in California. Even the tax structure is unfair since EVs use our roads but only gas powered cars are expected to pay for maintenance of roads and freeways. Anyway, I try to keep my tank a bit lower on the way in to Vegas so I can fill it in Nevada. Waiting until the store is closed is definitely the way to save time and headaches since the lines are so much shorter and the gas stations are open for a few hours after closing. Since Costco has workers outside, there is much less chance of getting ripped off by people putting card skimmers on pumps or criminals trying to pull their usual shenanigans like they do at other gas stations. With prices entering the stratosphere with this unending war with Iran, we are fortunate to have an option like Costco to help us maintain our sanity. read more

Spoke to Ms. Amber a general manager at this location great and very polite with an overall understanding service. But I still want to take the time to address this issue publicly I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the way I was treated at the Costco gas station located at 222 S. Martin Luther King Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89106. I have been a loyal Costco member for more than four years. Unfortunately, this month I simply forgot to renew my membership. When I attempted to purchase gas, I realized my membership had expired. I understand that Costco's policy requires an active membership to purchase fuel, and I respect that policy. What upset me was not the policy itself, but the way I was treated by the employee. The employee spoke to me in a rude and dismissive manner instead of explaining the situation professionally or offering guidance on how I could quickly renew my membership. To make matters worse, I was there with my 4-year-old child in 116-degree weather. We had already waited in line, and the interaction left us standing in the extreme heat without any empathy or assistance. A little kindness and professionalism would have made a significant difference. As a long-time member, I expected to be treated with courtesy and respect, even if I was unable to purchase gas because my membership had expired. I hope Costco will review this incident, speak with the employee involved, and reinforce the importance of treating members with respect and professionalism, especially in extreme weather conditions. I love this Costco gas spot. It's very convenient, since it's right off the 11 and 15. It's usually pretty quick too. They just remodeled it so there are more pumps. Never had an issue. Price is always good, and I assume the quality of the gasoline is better considering it's Costco. read more

I didn't know that Costco had business locations, but this is next to it! Despite the hot summer heat, there were two staff members stationed to help customers. Being in Vegas, I can imagine that there are many visitors who might need help... and I was surprised I ended up being one of them! The staff members were quick to assist with my payment issue, and I learned that my payment had "timed out" in the time that it took me to connect a pump to my car. It'd been years since we've been to this particular one as we usually fly to Vegas and will do a ride share. But this last time we drove to Vegas. We had time on our hands so let's go get gas at Costco. And when did this become a Costco business center? We had to make a big loop around the warehouse to find two narrow gas lines. Inching, inching, inching. Two motor homes ahead of us needed to back up once they filled up at the pumps cuz they couldn't swing wide. These gas pumps were like an afterthought. The way the pumps are situated and the narrowness of them. Very challenging as the pumps angled to the street. We were at the pump furthest to the street. Hubby could barely angle our F150 pickup out. Plenty of chipped paint on the bars to the right as I peeked out the window from the passenger side. Honestly end up at Costco card most frequently for gas often than for groceries. There is ALWAYS a line to wait, unless you go early af in the morning but it's not too bad of a wait usually moves fairly quickly. There are cones designating the queue entrance to prevent line cutting. Pumps are long enough you can fill your tank on the opposite end if you end up on the wrong side of the nozzle to keep the line moving. I can usually fill my tank for under $50 which is cheaper than the average gas station prices. There is no convenience shop tho since it's technically the Costco, but the food court is cheap once inside. People fill up their RVs and boats here also. read more

The price here was mostly more than a 30 cents savings per gallon on Nov 9, 2018! The previous lowest gas price we filled up with was $3.11. Some other prices we paid were higher. If you are near the Las Vegas Strip on the north end, be sure to stop here for Fuel! This Costco is located on S. Martin L. King Blvd. You need to have a Costco Membership card to swipe at the Gas Pump in order to begin filling your tank. Also, be sure to use a Credit Card, cash is not accepted. The hose for gas is advertised as being long enough to reach the far side of your car if necessary, so you can use any pump. That's really helpful! Unlike most Costcos, this location does not have a Food Court since it is a Business Costco. Just groceries and gas. Although every pump was in use and there was a good line, our turn popped up fairly quickly. There are only 2 pumps per lane and I think a total of 6 lanes. A penny saved is a penny earned!! In fact, this location has fewer pumps, in an even tighter space which makes it even more of a pain in the butt when there's a long line of cars.
