Management or ownership did not change the amount of allowable fuel so it stopped me at $100. With gas prices how they are and the fact that it was an RV specific spot they should have allowed the price to be unlimited so I could fill up my tanks and not have to do multiple transactions. It's 2026 and apparently we went to the moon decades ago, but we can't figure out how to up the price on a pump to allow for fueling in one transaction. Stupid mistake.

They had tons of fountain drink options. There was an impressive slushy machine with more than the usual amount of choices. I got myself a coffee and it was brewed fresh before my eyes. Technically it was an Americano. There were multiple options to doctor it up. Many creamer and sweetener choices. There were 6 flavored syrups as well. I did wish there was a sugar free option. I have seen them at another Maverik I was @ in AZ recently. I was hoping yo find the same here. No luck. Oh well. The milkshake machine caught my eye. There were various candy mixes like Snickers, Butterfingers, I think Oreo & quite a few more. I wanted to take one home to my husband. I grabbed the Snickers flavor and took it to the counter. The cashier was SO nice! She didn't make me feel embarrassed for not knowing you are supposed to have the machine mix it before you leave. She politely walked me back over to the machine and showed me what to do. It was so cool! The store itself was squeaky clean bathrooms were very nice and clean as well. I did not get gas here, but there were many pumps and I think you would rarely run into having to wait in a line to get gas. All in all I loved this Maverik. The options were endless. The customer service was perfect. This was a clean and unusually enjoyable gas station experience.

Further investigation shows executives making millions. Anyway employees are forced to push & lean on customers even making them opt out on their POS system. Then where you pay unlimited for car washes but the car washes are closed and only open on certain hours what's the point this is a 24 hour Town some people work odd hours hello. Then forcing your employees to make people donate money to where you don't even know where it goes you have no validation or receipt. Then to top it off, you buy this unlimited car wash thing. None of the car washes are open at 5 AM. I know Covid really screwed up vegas and nothing's open in the middle of the night but terribles you're doing a really good terrible job. it's sad I knew the family and how great their gas stations were. I've been to this gas station quite a bit since I moved to this area in March, it's across the…read morestreet from my house, super convenient. Didn't have a problem till I pulled up to fill up on a Friday after working two jobs in one day and having to pick up my teenaged son from his job, and was quite literally on E, 10:30pm at night when I paid through the app just like I always do, used Apple Pay to pay just like I always do... reached for the pump and the cashier on duty cancels the transaction and it says on the screen to go inside to speak to the cashier. I then have my son go in and the cashier tells him when he walks in "it'll be instantly refunded to my card" he tells me this when he gets to the car, cashier doesn't greet him, doesn't say why she cancelled it, just it'll be refunded. I drive off on E. Return the next day because I'm still on E and need to take my kid to work. I walk in this time and advise my money was not returned to me instantly show proof of it still pending, mind you I didn't tell the lady what pump I was at the night before but she said it, which I can only assume means she was the one my son had this interaction with. So then I ask for a manager speak to Jack who accused me of calling him stupid for asking why the transaction was cancelled and all he kept saying is we aren't stupid we can't cancel the transactions. I then say I never called you stupid I'm asking why was the transaction cancelled and for him to not cancel the transaction I now need to make, he then repeats himself again, in which I take a deep breath in and ask him to not cancel this transaction because I am not a baller! He then says if you do not get your money back by Monday he will personally return it to me VERBATIM! Now that being said I work two jobs I wasn't able to come back on Monday, I'm also a single parent. I returned the next Saturday which is quite literally TODAY, asked for the manager, Kayla says she is the assistant manager, I proceed to tell her what happened and advised still haven't received my money back and showed her proof she then calls Jack on the phone and he says I need to call my bank, now I did already because like I said I don't have time during the week to go inside of the gas station so I thought it be easier if Apple Pay just gives me my money back but Apple Pay says they can't do anything till after the 26th (original transaction was on the 15th) and if they don't cancel the transaction on their end they will report them. Now I then advised to both Kayla and Jack that I did call Apple Pay and then told them what Apple Pay said, in which he proceeds to tell me he watched me on the cameras get gas and I said I sure did the following day when I came in here which I told him I was going to do when I asked him to not cancel this transaction you know the same day he kept saying he wasn't stupid he can't cancel a transaction. I spent a different amount that day not the $70.28 they cancelled for no reason. Now they both have an attitude with me which I just want to add on both Saturdays when I got out of my car and walked into the store I did not act crazy, I did not disrespect anyone, I did not yell, I did not cuss, I did not act out of character. But I did keep saying he did say he would give me my money back personally on Monday. In which they respond with I'll give you the money back but you can never come back again! I didn't get I am so sorry for the inconvenience, still don't know why the transaction was cancelled, but now I'm not allowed to come back because yall stole my money and didn't want to give it back! But again not once did I act out of character or was disrespectful or unprofessional! Side note- Jack I drove down to my original gas station I used to go to before yours, and asked them can yall cancel transactions, in which they replied YES, when we think someone is being shady. I guess me sitting in my car exhausted from a long day, long week, long life-is Shady Jack huh! No worries tho I wasn't planning on giving you any more of my money anyways! It's a little ways off the freeway but I had a lot of time before my rental car had to be dropped so I came over here to save a little bit on gas. They have an "Adventure rewards" program that can also save you a few cents per gallon on your fills so sign up in advance if that interests you. I like the interior of Maverick stations too, I think they're generally a little bigger than other standard gas stations.
