There are two pumps per lane... there were many lanes and not enough time to count because everyone moved along smoothly! I love Costco gasoline prices. This Costco is on my way home from work and not my local Costco gas station. Once in a great while I forget to fill up and I'm forced to fill up here on the way home. Unfortunately they have not upgraded their pumps like my local Costco. Each lane is still 2 pumps per lane where the updated Costco gas has 4 pumps per lane, which makes the lines longer. As I said before, this is my go-to Costco gas when I'm in Montclair. Line can get really really long where cars may be lined up all the way out to the entrance just like yesterday LOL. I think they should relocate the gas stations to the back of the parking lot instead of the front for better traffic flow IMHO. Unfortunately, the only gripe is the long line and long wait time that goes with it. Patience is key! Costco gas prices are normally lower than the name brand gas stations. So glad they put back the trash can bins. Trash is usually cleared out timely... never see overflowing bins. Attendants are always available to assist with anything and provide the service requested. The other thing I like about Costco gas besides their price is being able to pull the pump to the other side of the car... it allows some flexibility... you can use both sides of the pump. When I pulled up to the pump with my almost empty 75 gallon RV I was a bit surprised to see that Premium was the only option. I noticed the price was similar to what I had paid the day previous for regular unleaded in my car. I asked the attendant about it. His response made me a customer for a very long time. The turn here is a little awkward to get into the Costco Gasoline on busy days, and it seems in LA/San Bernardino County, the only place to get Gasoline practically is Costco Gasoline due to the enormous cost savings over their gas competitors. Came here on a Sunday afternoon and just to turn into the Costco complex (read, NOT Costco Gasoline yet) was a pain in the ass. By the time I could get to the Costco Gasoline area, that area was completely packed full of cars, so I had to wait about 2 minutes before I could even get to a single line. Thing is, time is precious with the California lifestyle. So for those of you that hate long wait times, you may want to either come earlier in the morning or later at night right before they close (check Costco's main website to get the latest, most accurate hours of operation). Other than that, it is what it is. It's a gas station that sells cheap gas. Membership is required, easiest way to get membership is to walk into the Costco warehouse attached to any Costco Gasoline location. BTW, check Groupon every now and then. 1 Negative was overturned with TWO positives by the AMAZING MEL (manager) & TYLER! Briefly, my negative experience was soon rectified by the two young ladies at their location. Called in earlier before driving to this location. Drive would take a bit over 30 minutes due to being further away in this terrible rain. Spoke to Ericka whom confirmed item was available in stock and guaranteed by since she checking on hand stock. Didn't see bags needed for dog food in aisle so went to the front were I was assisted (somewhat) by a supervisor in a red vest. He checked inventory and other PC, immediately said we don't have, we sold out and tried to ignore my request of how I was advised by Ericka that inventory was on site. He practically did everything to avoid this conversation. Even used the, "I'm already leaving card". When I realized his body language and his actions where to not assist, I called from same section and was assisted my Mel. After we got disconnected, she came out and greeted me, checked inventory and dispatched one of her crews to locate product that was found sitting on the dock but in inventory. She was able to have bags brought up, purchased and rectified her crew negative interaction. Mel (manager) was very positive and motivated to assist and make a name not only for herself but the company in which she represents. Tyler (check out agent) at exit door was very kind and pleasant to work with. She was even very kind to watch my cart with supplies while I ran to get my truck since the rain storm had just hit. My family absolutely look forward to shopping and afterwards who can resist not stopping by the food court! Exactly. Hands down everyone stops to purchase food especially hotdogs or pizza.
