DO NOT GET THE COSTCO ANYWHERE VISA CARD!!!!!!! It's a trap!!!!! " Very high interest rates and hidden fees" this is your first and final warning! If they trick you into getting the card to save on gas, you can actually save more money on gas with a gas card from one of the other brand-name gas stations. A line to get out sometimes they need a wider exit with more employees. Some employees move like they have been touched in the head. read more

Hanford is not as big as Visalia, but their gas prices are cheaper. Came in for one thing & left with more. Let's see how long it will last. Everything is in big quantities. I know that's Costco, so if you have a big family like the kind they made in the 1940's, 7-10 kids in your pack, then this is your store. The price for paper towels now, 12-pack is $20.49. Ordered a smoothie on my way out. What?! Who forgets to power up the machine? Wow this strawberry/banana smoothie is super sweet. I'm regretting this purchase. Until next time. This is the only Costco I am willing to go to on a weekend. I don't live in the area but whenever I'm in town visiting my parents I always come here. The parking lot has plenty of spaces close to the entrance, the gas station has almost no waiting time, and they seem to have amazing prices than other locations on food items. I came recently on a Saturday and had such a good shopping experience. So much better than getting run over by frantic shoppers in the big city locations. :) read more

Nutty Fruity - Dubai Chocolate :: I'm a little lost about this taste. The chocolate taste cheap and the pistachio taste cheap. The chocolate reminds me of Lindt chocolate but less bitter and more sweater. Sometime I can taste the undisolve sugar. The pistachio filling is not even pistachio. It's something else. The only thing that I like about this bar is the toasty Kadayif. The simplest way to describe this chocolate taste is a toasty froot loop chocolate bar. RATE : 1/5 I'm expecting a slight bitter chocloate taste and a creamy soft/fluffly pistachio flavor with crunchy Kadayif. AMBIANCE :: Costco is always great! I do self checkout. I was running errands in the area and stopped by the Hanford Costco on Lacey Blvd for the first time. Honestly, I'm highly impressed! Even though Hanford is a smaller city, this location has a much better selection of unique and rare products compared to the three locations in Fresno and Clovis.They actually have Almond Roca candy in stock (which the Fresno/Clovis stores ran out of--you could honestly make a decent profit reselling these right now). I also found the men's Gillette Pro-Glide 5+ with the bonus handle, and a great Chick-fil-A 3-pack featuring the original, honey mustard, and Polynesian sauces.My overall shopping experience was great, but I did witness something unpleasant. I saw a parent yank their child's hair incredibly hard. While adults absolutely need to keep their kids from wandering or going wild in the aisles, it should always be handled in a civil manner. Abuse like that is completely uncalled for.That aside, if you are nearby or passing through Hanford, I 100% recommend stopping by this location. You can thank me later! read more

Oh Costco where do I begin? You've let me down. From scanning ID's at the door to not believing me, not much is keeping me as a member these days. When I heard on the news that they would start scanning ID's just to get in I was disappointed. And why? Because they're loosing money on non members going in to eat samples? Really!? Limit samples or get rid of them all together. Sample zombies that leave their shopping carts in the way while they consume their samples is the worst anyways. Annoying and rude! Not the sample peoples fault, but not necessary. As of my visit last night around 8 at night, it's official. It's started. Didn't create a line, maybe because it was late, but still annoying. Second incident (Fresno Costco) I got into it with the cashier who didn't want me using the separator sticks on the check out conveyor belt. I wanted to separate two of my items and the people in front of me. No need to get moody with me lady but whatever. Third and most annoying incident, I found dinner rolls for $.97. Look at them and sell by date was the day prior. Makes sense why the price. Cool I'll just freeze them and use them later. At check out they rang full price, almost $6. Told them I didn't want them and showed the cashier my picture who sent her assistance to check. The couple behind also said that's why they got them. By then two other employees had shown up and I mention to them they were past due. I told them she could just take them off and we could move on as the couple behind me were visibly annoyed by now and I just wanted out of there. She said she couldn't do it, she needed supervisor approval to delete it. So who the hell were the other employees there????? So guy comes back and says he saw no sign!!!! I didn't say it, but I was thinking, so I took the time to photo shop a sign for cheap past due rolls???? Come on Costco. And they were gonna give them to me for $.97 but he didn't come back with them. No apology, no nothing. Hurry up and build that Sams club in Visalia and I'm pulling chocks. My wife and I stopped off at the Costco in Hanford, CA today not our regular COSTCO store and we're glad we did. We needed to pickup your Outstanding Baked Chicken and other items for dinner this evening for our grandkids. Mark from CVS (samples) saved our day. We were unable to fine liquid hand soap so we stopped for a sample of unsweetened pineapple chunks. I asked Mark if he knew where the liquid soap would be. We went to buy Pokemon from Hanford location and we had to pay first at customer service and we needed to grab a couple more items so we took our Pokemon with us after paying. When we were leaving Rosalyn and Jackie stopped us very rudely and informed us we couldn't look at other things in the store after we purchase!! I was visiting family in town for the week and needed a few things! I live in Vegas and I'm so used to traffic and congestion at my local Costco. That wasn't the case here at all. The parking lot was a breeze to get in and out of. I visited multiple times at different times of the day and still no traffic. Customer service was quick and friendly at the register. And seriously props to the gas station located on the side of the building. No wait!!!!!!! I love this!!!!!!!! $4.69 for regular unleaded when I was there at the end of August. read more

This is a post about the auto center. If you want tires or batteries. They have them. Don't bother calling to ask what they have available, they will never answer the phone. If you don't mind standing in line for 45 minutes this is the place for you. Or if you would like to watch one of the admin team members run around and try to find someone to help you, that's always fun. However the people that work there are very nice. I don't blame them, I blame whoever makes the staffing decisions. There are not enough staff to help the amount of customers that would like to patronize the services there. read more

We came here just for gas so my review is only for the gas part of the business. My wife and I were visiting family from the area & knew we needed to fill up before we headed on our long drive back to Los Angeles. Knowing that this Costco would have a lower tax rate than the next location in Visalia, we decided to stop by. Despite the parking lot being packed, we found the line for gas to be practically empty. Shocking given that with their cheaper prices, we've seen Costco gas lines get longer & longer down by us. We were in and out of the station in under 10 minutes which was a shock given that it was practically peak hours. We stumbled upon this Costco, but given this experience, we will certainly be coming back to fill up next time we are in the area visiting family. And who knows. Maybe next time we will also swing by the food court for a hot dog. read more

There are only TWO disability scooters in the store! This cannot accommodate the number of disabled customers that are shopping in store in an hours time. Costco is more worried about non members slipping through than making disabled customers wait in their car for someone to do their shopping for them or sitting on the cement pillars waiting for one of the TWO scooters to become available. This might be an ADA offense. Guess we'll find out! Even Walmart has more than that! Do better Costco! We all know you can afford it!! read more

This is a good Costco location. Wide aisles, excellent variety of goods, lots of check-outs that tend to move fast. I usually visit here at least once when I'm on a visit to my hometown because it has excellent prices compared to many other stores, especially these days. I just found out today that the onions for the hot dog is still available. I didn't know that the food staff are supposed to ask you if you want to. What a surprise because I love onions on my hot dogs. Been eating hot dog in Costco with no onions for awhile now. But now, I feel better that I can have it again. Thanks for the lady's tip. Just ask if the staffs didn't ask you. Sometimes or most of the times, the staff forget to ask the customers, but just ask and they'll give you some. Enjoy. read more

Overall, I like Costco. This location is clean for the most part and has variety. Unfortunately during my most recent visit, our cashier Darby was not supported by his supervisors. I had a certificate to redeem, requiring a supervisor signature. Darby shouted three times for a supervisor, and yet no one came. I turned to see 3-4 men just standing by the supervising area. After waiting almost 10 minutes and the line continuing to grow behind me, I decided to just pay for my items and see the membership desk in order to redeem my certificate. Terrible support from his supervisors and I feel bad for him as he is a new cashier based on his badge. read more

The Visalia Costco is the nearest location to us but we drive to Hanford to visit this store. This store has more inventory then the one in Visalia and feels more organized and clean. Checkout was pretty quick but then again I visited this store during the week instead of the weekend during the busy days. read more

Came here because of the attendant for assistance. I have mobility issue due to below knee amputation and use a walker which makes it difficult to fuel up with a walker between pump and truck. Both times I've come (Oct and this month Jan) it is not busy and I've have used the lane closest to the booth , but attendants are both in the booth, appear to be playing on phones. Did the "honk horn to get help", other customers looked over but neither attendant even looked up from their phone. In Oct struggled and pumped gas myself because I was very low on fuel, this time I just left after waiting almost 10 minutes for any response with no one ever looking up and out the window... . read more

PHARMACY STAFFS ARE SO RUDE. Context: brand vs generic. So when I responded 1 to refill, it reverted back to the old brand, so I called and said this is the wrong refill. The female pharmacy tech got upset because she said I have to call not respond to the text for a refill. She was rude af. And I said I don't control how you guys fill, and you already have a note there. She passed me to the pharmacy manager who is also upset on their fault for their system "automatically" reverts it like they dont manually look before putting it to process. Then he explained by law the generic is accepted. I know that and I don't care about the pricing and cost effectiveness, I care how this medication tastes so bitter with a certain brand. I know how to work a pyxis. He repeated in a rude tone you have to call us every month and not respond to the text message. Like I knew, what's the point of the text reminder then. I'm being blamed for their lack of attention to detail they control that on their end. So I said, look I am not upset I just woke up from my migraine I just want you to process it as before. You need better customer service. We are both in the health care field so your attitude needs to be changed or go find a less stressful job. read more

My husband and I were in Hanford with my grandson and his teammates for a baseball tournament on July 22,2023. Our van's tire pressure light went on. We went to the tire department to see if we could get help with this issue. I don't live in Hanford, and live fairly close to the Visalia location, but this Costco location is so superior to Visalia, that I feel it deserves a review. This location is a bit out of the way for me, but it's an easy drive from Visalia and surrounding communities. I prefer this Costco because the employees seem to take pride in their warehouse. The staff is exceptional, and the place is spotless and well kept. I came for a stock-up trip and showed up at opening time not realizing how early it was, so I was able to see everything this Costco location had to offer. I was completely surprised to find something that I have been shopping for, for half price from any online merchant, including, the Amazon. I have been on the lookout for a 210 lb dumbbell set, and I found it here...in Hanford, CA for $299.99. Most online vendors sell this exact set ranging anywhere from $400-$600 + shipping. For anyone wondering why this isn't 5 stars, that is because 5 stars is for perfection like you might find at a high dollar 5 star restaurant and no matter how good a chain restaurant is it can never complete with the quality of a 5 star restaurant. Kudos to Mario and the team at Costco Hanford Tire Service Station! I drive almost 20k miles a year and my car desperately needed its tires rotated. I called around 945 am and spoke to Mario. He was so friendly and helpful and set up a 1:45pm appointment for me to get my tires rotated. I arrived late as I had to stop and get gas (at Costco for $5.06 a gallon for 87). Mario and two co-workers were so helpful and got the work done within 30 minutes. I had enough time to walk through Costco and make some phone calls. Absolutely professional, friendly and didn't try to trick or upsell me. Thank you Mario and your team - absolutely recommend and will come back! read more

I went to the membership service desk to make sure my Costco card was still valid because I received an email with instructions to get a new card. The person at the membership desk confirmed that the card was valid and then he asked if I wanted to upgrade to executive level for an additional $30. I declined and thanked him. I went back to my basket to check out and when the clerk scanned my card some kind of alert popped up, so she called another store person over to look at the screen. After he looked at whatever was on the screen he asked me if I wanted to upgrade to executive. I said no and that I already told the membership guy that I was not interested. This clerk then said it looked like I was spending more money than usual and that I should consider the upgrade. I told him no again, then I paid and started walking away. He followed me insisting that I upgrade and rudely said that he was trying to help me make an educated decision. I was getting embarrassed and upset so I sharply told him no again and continued walking out the exit. I usually don't let much bother me, but I felt like I was harassed. After I got home, I called the store and spoke with Mike, the manager and explained what happened. He then too went into the same pitch about the upgrade! It took some extra grace to stay calm. At the end of the call he did apologize for the behavior of the other clerk. I'm still not okay about the experience. I have been a Costco member for a long time but the behaviors of the guys at the Hanford location made me feel disrespected and unheard. I will never go back there. read more
