This particular store is a small shop which sells a full range of food items including all the ready meals, breads, frozen foods, wine, salads and sandwiches you would expect. Nice, pleasant staff too. It can be super busy when the famous Marks and Spencer 'Dine In' meal deals are on offer though, so get here early on such days if you don't want to miss out. In addition you can order food for collection at special times of the year such as at Christmas and New Year, in particular I'd recommend the: *Beetroot & caramelised shallot tarte tatin *Mushroom wellington *Roast butternut, almond & pecan roast

The range of food was decent enough and although there wasn't a great deal of stuff to surprise and delight the true foodie with 'out there' choices it had all the traditional crowd pleasers and it does them very well. The staff are nice, chatty and friendly and you never seem to be putting them out by being there as you feel in some places. The café is clean and tidy as well as feel cosy and bright. The coffee machine is a proper espresso maker however I was initially worried when I saw the lady take out a kind of tea bag thing and but it in the espresso basket, the pre-prepared 'Nespresso' type thins aren't usually great, and although it hardly constituted the best quality of coffee I've ever had it was far from bad. All this and the prices are decent too. The only thing was like many people nowadays I like to sit and read the news, catch up on Facebook, check Yelp for the place I'm in when I'm in cafes and the phone signal in the centre of Magherafelt isn't great, as there is no Wi-Fi available, you are kind of stuck.

Well for me it's a friendly welcome and here it was ace happy cheerful staff. The other requirement is cleanliness as I've been in quite a few filthy Starbucks places in NI where clearing and cleaning tables is very far from a priority. Here again it was clean and tidy store. A flat white is now £3; I think a year back it was £2.6. I suspect it'll be at least £3.3 by Christmas. This Starbucks is within the Rushmere shopping centre which itself is in administration. Rushmere has lost a few key anchor businesses like Debenhams and Topshop and other stores but Primark has announced it will open there that will increase footfall. There's a relatively newly arrived chicken shack Nando's and a new Asian Eatao.
