But much of the accessories are quirky and unique: think doll hands for earrings kind of vibe! There's a decent amount of knick-knacks and giftables here as well, that are more local artisan made or new. The store can feel a bit overwhelming at first entrance, so take it by section and putz with an open mind. Every product is color coded and the plethora of earrings could take months to observe thoroughly. While there are tons of handbags, I actually think there are far more earrings and jewelry pieces. There's a single dressing room at the back of the store. They advertise for 3 items only, although, I think they should update this policy. I followed it by hanging everything directly outside the dressing room, yet it felt pointless to reach my arm out when I was done with 3 items just to swap out for new items. I know, because we spent all day checking out consignment stores in every nick and corner of the Twin Cities. (They're certainly not identical twins!) The proprietor Doug is engaging and informative. He has an eye for a pieces that are architectural beauties. Yet, he can also turn that basement throw away into something that should be displayed in the Museum of Modern Art. Repurpose Republic is the kind of place you want to return to often, just to see what new beauty shows up on the showroom floor. Unfortunately, Repurpose Republic was our first stop, and I was exhausted with all the wasted hours visiting other consignment stores. Save yourself some time and just "hit up" Repurpose Republic. I will say- if vintage is your style and you're open to what you wear this would be a good stop. If you're a little more picky and looking to save some money this may not be the best option.

I can't express how happy I am with Innsbruck…read more I went there to pick out my fiance's engagement ring. Both of the ladies who helped me catered to my every need. There was no pressure. I actually ended up making a custom ring. I had them put pink sapphires around the outside bezel along with a black diamond below the setting itself. The girls ordered in my stones then hand placed them into the ring so that I could see see what it looked like before I had them actually set the diamonds. The ring turned out so much more beautiful then I even expected. The coolest part was when the ring was just a tiny bit too big we brought it back just to ask how to get it re-sized and they did it right on the spot! It only took like 20 mins! I really had an enjoyable experience and will return to purchase again.

Because of the way the buttons on the zipper were, I was told by multiple tailors that they could do nothing about it. Not here! I called and he immediately told me he could fix it and to come in. Once there, he took a look at it, said he can still fix it and gave me options about what kinds of zippers he can do. He told me about the double zipper that can zip up from the bottom so when you sit down, it doesn't put strain on the zipper and inevitably split again. It has changed the game on this jacket! Overall, great customer service, timely alterations and everything was delivered as promised. Would recommend for any tailoring needs!

I stopped in a few days before Christmas, and I actually had a few things yet I wanted to get my grandpa, so this worked out great. At the entrance - and throughout the store - I found free hot coffee, tea, refreshments, cookies, and treats. Maybe it's just a holiday thing but I loved the hospitality. The space is HUGE - so much more than clothes! I had no idea. They have: - books and coffee table books - a whole room dedicated to perfume/cologne and scents - a whole area for cocktail-related gifts - home decor, tableware, and interior decor items - kitschy smaller giftables that were organized by theme (work/office, hosting, etc.) - menswear and womenswear - jewelry - candles - and so much more! I genuinely believe you can walk in here and be sure to find something for anyone on your gifting list. However, a close friend is diving in for his third, and I applaud his happiness. I won't wear a tuxedo, but I needed to have a suit made that would make the bride and the 400 attendees comfortable. The bride already told me not to don a fedora or pink sneakers, although I wanted to. Todd Fliginger at Martin Patrick took me under his wing. Todd is amazingly kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. He sent swatches to Milwaukee before we moved to Minneapolis. Tailors were brought in, especially the master tailor Robert, not only to measure, but also to have me try on different designers' pieces to see what would fit well. I am a difficult fit, with a body more like a penguin than a human. That's what a custom tailor in NYC told me. However, I don't nosh on Krill. Todd and Robert took hours to get a correct fit and guaranteed that I would look good. Todd even saved me several hundred dollars off the original quote. ADDENDUM: My suit arrived, and it looked amazing. A few alterations are required to ensure a perfect fit, but that's it. I had a suit made on Savile Row in London that cost more than three times this suit's price, and it did not fit as well. This store should be on every list of Minneapolis's sightseeing highlights. It is akin to a design museum. Everything at Martin Patrick--furniture and furnishings--is for sale, and they're all amazing! Martin Patrick 3 is down-to-earth sophistication, with a NYC or Parisian vibe. Yet, the staff is Midwest empathetic. It is a Minneapolis treasure, as is Todd. I might not be looking forward to this wedding, but at least I know I will look my best.
