I enjoyed everything. Go early for decent parking. There are tons of vendors. No outside food allowed and only one water bottle per person. They will search your bag. Lots of food vendors - we bought containers of food from Brothers (hummus, garlic spread, olives, pitas, baklava,etc) and the kettle corn was delicious. Also bought lots of merchandise - festival had past years tee shirts and the bands had clothing and CDs. There's a great play area for the kids, and lots of bathrooms - a mix of conventional and porta potties. The people who put this on are epically nice volunteers and they do a magnificent job. I enjoyed every second and I'll be back next year! (We stay in Windsor and go to both days of the festival.)

Janitor worked to clean urine off the floor in men's restroom . Drink servers were ok . I still have my complaints from the first post , but today seemed a little better . I still see no advantage in being a fortune card holder . It seems the same as inspire . I actually had more free play with my inspire card than with my fortune card . Also for gift and go , you need 1,000 points to get a gift . On gift card days , same thing . When I get free play from the promotional kiosk by choosing one of the usually 3 to 5 options there , I tend to get $5 to $10 max .

I then went into the women's locker room where I enjoyed some of the spas amenity's. Front desk was so sweet, they charged my phone for me so I could have battery for my flight. I used all of the amenities as I paid $130 for the day which I felt was kind of high. I will say I felt like I was being watched the entire time, kind of hard to relax when you feel like your every move is being calculated. I pulled my phone out of the locker just to check into my flight, and the spa service lady walked up to me within 2 seconds asking me politely to not use my phone. I explained that I just needed to check into my flight, it would take a minute or 2 and I wasn't using my phone to communicate with anyone or use socials, etc. she was really nice and just doing her job but I gotta say, I've been to a lot of really nice spas and locker rooms and way nicer than this one, and I've never felt like I was being watched so closely. I didn't really feel like I had any privacy at all to be honest, so I ended up cutting my amenity time short as it was beginning to feel like I was having more anxiety than relaxing. Then my boyfriend came out of the men's locker room and told me he had a completely different experience he explained that he relaxed and watched tv and when he pulled out his phone to text me or ask what time we were going to meet after using the amenities separately, that no one scolded him or anything like what I experienced!

It's a beautiful space on a hillside and you can see the herd and their guardian llama as you pull into the parking lot. We learned a lot about the alpaca life cycle, fed the boys, and my daughter got to hold and carry a cria. We bought two cute alpaca shaped soaps. I didn't experience any of the negativity others have complained about. It is a working ranch so it's not a petting zoo or a tourist attraction. Go with the flow and you'll have a great experience.

The high spirited 20 piece brass band plays New Orleans style tunes as well as other diverse musical genres. I found them totally by chance at the Fillmore Jazz Festival. Seems like they were having as much fun performing for the crowd as the crowd was enjoying listening to their music. Can't wait to hear them again! BTW. I read that one of the co-founders has a PhD in ethnomusicology at the University of California, Berkeley. Just goes to show you that sometimes great music isn't entirely accidental.

A beautiful day and perfect hours for the event that featured the Press Democrat Top 100 wines of Sonoma County and a delightful & diverse mixture of local restaurants food offerings. Fortunately we were able to taste the Top rated Taft Street Rose, which limited production has since sold out, but was truly amazing for a lighter red. Handline, a new comer restaurant served a wonderfully fresh, simply prepared halibut. So many, too many to mention both food & wine tastings, it can be a little overwhelming but it's also a treat to have them all in one tidy, eco friendly Sonoma State Campus hosted event.
