Cotton Kloset is still, after all these years my go to for home decor and clothes. It's fall, so I just took a bunch of clothes in to sell. They only take current styles and nothing over two years old. Which I really appreciate so everything is in style. I love consigning and shopping here. I've only visited/ shop here once. And here is my two cents. They are located in the same shopping center as a cute bakery shop and a fun toy store for kids. The parking leaves much to be desired. They have a section for home good and section for clothes, shoes the like. When I visited they had Halloween and thanksgiving home goods out. I recall seeing a few ornaments as well. I took a few trips around the store as I noticed there's a final sale sign. So be mindful of that when making a purchase. I found some wine glasses as a gift and know that we will come back for future gifts and or clothes. read more

I have been shopping at Cotton Kloset for over 20 years! It started out that I just loved all the nice quality and fun things I could find here but I have also gotten to know Tracy and Vicki and have become friends with them! They not only run a great shop but also care about the customers that come in! They actually brought in cookies for me on my birthday! I love this little shop. You almost would not realize that it's here. My Mom was in town, and we decided to take some time in here. I did check out the clothes on the one side of the store, but only briefly. They are organized well and are in very nice condition. My favorite is the other side of the store. Knickknacks, home decor and purses. There is a different color tag each day for items on sale. Things change often, so every week it's like a different shop. read more

I have enjoyed shopping and consigning at Cotton Kloset for many years. There is always a large and diverse selection of high-quality clothing and home goods. It is so much more fun than shopping in a large department store because of the wide variety of styles that are affordable and eclectic. I often find designer clothing and shoes at a fraction of the price I would pay elsewhere. The employees are always friendly and helpful and the owner is experienced, knowledgeable and honest. The store makes consigning extremely easy and it's always fun to have some extra cash in your pocket. Because consigning is so simple, there are new items items available all the time. If I am looking for something specific, I can usually find it there. If I am going to browse, I rarely walk out the door without finding some things I just had to have. This was my experience. I consigned 10 items here with Sandy, the owner. They were fall/winter items, on the higher end of the scale, she loved them all and took them all to consign. After the consigning contract was over (3 months) I called the store to check in on the status and they said all my things had sold. A few days later I went to pick-up my check for the consigned items and the check was for $38.00. When I got the check only 4 things were listed. Vicki was helping me and when I asked her about the discrepancy she said "I don't know, we don't keep track of your stuff." And to that I said "I know you don't that is why I do and here is a list of the things that were taken to consign, 6 items were unaccounted for. The owner was not there so I left my info for her to call me. When she did she was very giddy about it all and explained that my items were recorded on the lady's account who came after me. What??? And for me to come in and pick-up a check for the remaining items. I did that day. She was not there of course and the check was for $68.00 and no items were listed that had been sold. My question is this, how on earth would she even know what was sold of mine, she couldn't, it was recorded on another account so she said. The number she gave me was pulled out of thin air. I wonder how many others have been screwed and taken advantage of. The store and its owner appear to be successful in spite of it all. read more

Very disappointed with the service I have been receiving at this store. I have been bring items in for ten or more years. If it's not in pristine condition they will not take it. Many items I am told are out of style but they are less then a year old and have tags still on them. I will not be bringing anymore nice leather bags or clothes into this store again. read more

I try to hit Cotton Kloset once a week - because they have incredible prices and quality products. Everyone in the store is very friendly especially Vikki. Every time I walk in she says hello. If you are consigning or buying - prices are fair and the staff is easy to work with. I like that they don't follow you around and ask you a bunch of questions - but if you do need help they are there as fast as possible - moving furniture to get to a rug (that I want to buy) or answer a question. read more

I reviewed this store a few years ago (unpleasant experience), but decided to pop back in last week while visiting family in Parker. Well, I'm here to report that not much has changed... The inventory is still questionably "trendy", although maybe I just didn't get a good opportunity to really browse since the store is still jam packed with stuff! Seriously, it's hard to move through the isles! The staff was pleasant to me, but my sister (who consigns there) was scolded (yes scolded!) by the owner about not having her name written on the consignment form prior to walking into the store. HUH? Judging by the recent 5 star reviews I might be in the minority here, but I still don't think this place is worth checking out. Then again I just noticed all those 5 star reviews appeared within the same week by reviewers who really haven't reviewed anything else on Yelp. Makes you wonder... They get my two stars for the friendly sales staff and the fact that my sister consigns with them. read more

The prices are high for used clothing. They usually run about 75% of what the item is new but the items are generally higher end. I enjoy that they aren't asking you how you're doing and what you're looking for. The hands off approach is kind of nice. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The staff are very unwelcoming. I have been there twice and I was not greeted either time. Not 1 staff member asked if I needed any help nor did they acknowledge my leaving the store. The items are overpriced and outdated. I was told over the phone that they only take high end designer brands and the items are less than 2 years old. They have Chico's exclusive racks for some reason, and they act like they are the Nordstrom of consignment stores. There are several other consignment stores nearby and the employees at least acknowledge and greet their potential customers. read more

As usual, this consignment store, like many others, is hit or miss. But the hits tend to be pretty decent. The last time I was here I got a really nice jacket in a plus size for $15. On this visit, the plus size clothes were slim pickins. Too bad I don't live in CO anymore, I'd sell them my clothes! They had a great selection of cowboy boots on this visit. I was impressed, though none were in my size. Two things that kind of weird me out though: -VERY used shoes being sold. I don't want someone's sweaty footprint in my shoe... Yuck! -Selling used cosmetics/bath products. I saw a small bottle of Philosophy's Purity face wash. I got the same little bottle as a sample FOR FREE from Sephora. They were trying to sell it for $3.99... Really?! It wasn't even full!!! So weird. Try making money on your clothes and housewares and nix the cosmetics. It's gross. read more

More clothes than anything else. There were a couple of home goods, but not much. I was actually surprised at the size of the store; from the front it doesn't look like it would be that big. I don't know what their typical stock looks like, because it was my first time in, but I wasn't impressed. One of the consignors was standing right next to door the entire time I was in with her pile of stuff in the way. I had to squeeze by her and some other woman who was blocking the other side of the entrance. I have been shopping at Cotton Closet for many years now and their attention to quality sets it apart from other consignment stores that I have shopped. The racks are clearly marked and they sort the clothes by color and size so it pretty easy to put together outfits or just find an individual piece. The consigned items are a mix of better brands of clothing and household decorating items. As a cosigner their policies are reasonable and fair, they will donate items that are not appropriate to consign or allow you to pick them up later. My only minor issue with the policy is around their no more than 3 yrs old rule for clothing. Some classic pieces may be excluded using this rule, but overall the consignment process is really easy. I can get a lamp for my living room and fancy shirt for my dinner party in the same stop! read more

Consignment clothing stores are as unique as the items they carry, and this place is fantastic! They may be a bit picky when they choose the items they accept, and I'm glad that they are! They have an incredible range of sizes, and designer brands. I love that I don't have to go to Park Meadows to find something unique, fashionable and special. Not to mention that their prices are fabulous! The store is decorated beautifully, and frequently. Seasonal decor seems to be one of their strengths. This is shabby chic, with a bit of vintage and a lot of style. You'll find everything from vintage furniture to designer shoes and handbags. The selection is well organized, beautifully presented and extensive. I don't think I have ever left empty-handed! read more

Went today to drop off items for consignment, which is how they make their money, right? I put my hanging items on the rack (where we are supposed to hang them) next to some other clothes and began to write down my info. The crabby woman with the longer hair snapped at me, "I was in the middle of taking in another order, did you move these other clothes Where was this shirt hanging??!"Um,I just hung mine on the rack next to them. No apology, no thanks, just a stern face. Perhaps Miss Happy needs a different inventory system than where guests are bringing in consigments. Of note, the woman with the shorter hair is always friendly! Consignment shops: we are your income! A friendly tone goes a long way. Bye bye cranky!! read more

I had lost a significant amount of weight and decided to take my clothes which were all great quality to a consignment shop. As k had never done consignment before I thought surely the staff would assist me in how the process works. Not at this store. For one the location was even by Google hard to find. And I walked in first without my items to inquire about how I do this, I was told I needed to bring my own hangers, I explained I had come from castle rock and the staff told Me there were leftover hangers outside in a bucket. When I brought my items in, I had to wait for the staff to finish chatting before anyone would help me. One staff member took my items and the other briefly explained what to do, then told me to go look around while they went through my items. I wandered around but nothing really caught my eye. I found the prices a bit steep for a purchase however thought at the same time, cool maybe I can make some money here. I had to go back to the counter to see if they were done, they didn't come and tell me. When all was done they told me they would contact me. I left leaving items and not understanding the process, well it's been two years and in have never gotten a phone call. So am I to assume my items are still lingering in their store? The older staff member was extremely rude and acted snooty and the younger one just went along with it. Acting like your better then the customers you assist always leaves a bad taste in my mouth. read more

I checked it out because I had a Groupon offer and it was really, really hard to find $25 worth of stuff I wanted. I found a jacket (that was missing a button) and some leggings. Be very careful when you leave something to sell. I was told the items they couldn't use they would call me and I could come and pick up them up. I had marked my card as 'donate' but was told that was for items they can't sell. Well, they supposedly donated the items they didn't put on the sales floor and I never got a call. The first person I talked to wasn't very nice about the situation. She mentioned I should talk to the owner Sandy. It took several questions asking about Sandy's schedule, etc and then to find out she's standing right there. All I got was an apology that wasn't genuine and she acted like I was taking up her valuable time. I shop there quite often and the staff never acknowledges that you are there and they are a overpriced too. Based on all this I won't consign there again and I won't be shopping in there anymore either read more
