Strapped for time but determined to venture inside, I returned the next day and was really glad I came back. Inside this delightful store is a treasure trove of restored vintage fashion in spectacular form and finish. Dorothy & Evelyn also carries vintage fashion for bubs and kids so if you're a fan of old-school cool, you have to check out the kids stuff. It also carries a unique collection of independent designer labels, so there's a good mix of contemporary and classic. On top of that, this store carries a large array of fashion accessories, with an emphasis on cute animals and graphic adorned pieces. My favourites include Dot&Eve horse, dove and owl necklaces, little peanut hair clips, Pigeonhole feather inspired necklaces and hand drawn and detailed jewellery from Lila ruby king. I also absolutely love the quirky homeware from cloud shaped chalkboard markers for potted plants and vintage inspired Dot&Eve animal figurines.

Normally there's a buy two get one free offer with these dresses. As many cute earrings, necklaces, brooches and rings that you can poke a stick at... And the lady who works there is so lovely, always end up having a little chat when I'm there. Be sure to check it out. x

I love Melbourne Central. I love how it's a one-stop-shop for everything you could need…read more ~ Smack dab in the middle of the CBD. Need something you (for some strange reason) cannot find at Melbourne Central? It's probably 10 steps away from Melbourne Central/ ~ Stunning interior design and architecture. You have your tower underneath a glass cage. At first, I thought that this was a bit strange, but then accepted the fact that the tower probably did a lot of bad things in its life and needs a cage to control it. You can't let that thing free, man. ~ Nice selection of food. Nothing too fantastic, but my favourites: Menya Ramen, Lord of the Fries, Grill'd, O-Bento, and Harajuku Crepes. There's bound to be more food heavens that I haven't explored in that massive building yet, and I'm keen to be on the lookout! ~ Convenient public transportation. If you're on the go, trust Melbourne Central to have a train running to anywhere you want in Melbourne. Trust Melbourne Central to also have great food takeaways for you to enjoy yourself at before your train arrives. ~ Loads of entertainment! Try out Cho Gao - a great Asian Beer Cafe with a stunning view of the city. Now try out Cho Gao after catching a movie at Melbourne Central's very own cinema. Seriously - what CAN'T you do here?

We weren't so keen with the name of the store but I guess to each his own! While inside, we found out the reason for the name. Radiade apparently stocks a range of fashion apparel that blocks radiation transmission - you know those pesky rays from your mobile phone, computer etc that we're exposed to every day! Established by two fashion-savvy pharmacists in response to the growing concern about exposure to electromagnetic radiation, the mother and children's fashion incorporates the latest nano-technology which supposedly cuts up to 99% of the radiation. The fabrics have apparently been tested and certified by the National Centre of Testing Technology in Shanghai, with the results confirmed by tests at the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency (ARPANSA). But besides the technicalities behind the radiation blocking fashion, this store really does have some super cute buys for kids. I fell in love with a Chanel style jacket and bag (which I want for myself) which my niece will love. The boys clothes are really cool too, with soft long sleeve shirts ala Polo Ralph Lauren style and casual jackets that little boys will love. Oh and the girl who owns it is just lovely. Very helpful and super chirpy! The dude was a little grumpy for our liking but perhaps he had a bad day.
