Unfortunately, the store didn't carry Moscato so we opted for Smirnoff in a can. We also picked up a few snacks. The cashier was kind enough to let me exchange a bag of chips I didn't particularly care for. The store carries a variety of fresh produce, frozen foods, premade sandwiches, ice cream, candy, gum, cookies, wine, malt beverages, as well as pantry items.

After paying for my stuff i had to wait inside for my uber to arrive (5 minutes) which is pretty legitimate based on the weather outside! 5 minute later, the kid started talking to me and asked me to leave! And wait for my uber outside! In other words, he verbally kicked me out pretexting that it was a depaneur and he already let me stay inside 5 minute and if he will let me wait longer if i buy more stuff!" I was extemely shocked and embarassed. I didnt want to make a scene or engage the discussion based on who my interlocutor was cause it was just pointless. I left and waited outside my ride that arrived in the same time! I come to that depaneur often and never had anything negative to say!... but this time...'it s pretty much a red flag! Dear owners, i will highly suggest you get rid of that person cause it s not doing any good to your business beside arming it!

You have your corner crack dens, you have your 24 hr brand name stores, and you have very successful smaller deps. This is the latter. This place always has a friendly face behind the counter, carries a fuller stock than almost any dep I've seen (Exception being that they don't have the deli counter that some other spots have) but you can pick up dinner, drinks or munchies at this spot. They work down to the detail of having a plastic cup on the counter with all of the types of rolling papers they carry LOL. I walk the extra 3 blocks instead of crossing the street because the two nearest deps to me are really day and night!

One of the main reasons why I love going to this store is because their customer service is impeccable. Whenever I go to pay at the cash, the cashiers are usually friendly and courteous. And whenever I have a problem with something, they handle it swiftly, knowledgeably and discreetly. If I have any questions, for the most part, the employees try to find out the answers for you.

So many varieties of European products ! I love reminiscing on my childhood as my lovely folks always made sure to have the house stocked with everything in this grocery store hihi! If you happen to have some free time I totally recommend going to this grocery store it's wonderful and super authentic! You can't find any other place like it ! and you'll love the food products.
