Even though the manufacturer kept sending them the wrong part (not their fault), they persisted in communicating with the manufacturer and sending back the wrong part over and over again until they received the right one and installed it. And this was for a fireplace that I didn't even buy from Pinnacle--so this project was not a money-maker for them at all. But they were so gracious in agreeing to work on it, and in helping me with getting this fireplace to be functional! In the end, it works perfectly--because of them!! Very reasonable pricing too. This is an integrous, excellent company; I recommend them 150%!!

I do not take these reviews lightly. I get no pleasure out of writing negative comments about…read moreanyone or any business. However, in this case I felt it necessary to share my experiences. Maybe this review will save someone from having to deal with the dishonesty and deceitfulness I have experienced from Pinnacle. In February 2022 my furnace went out. I called Pinnacle because I have known one of their employees on a personal level for nearly 20 years. The owner of Pinnacle came out right away and gave me a quote to replace both the furnace and AC unit. I was very impressed with how quickly they came out and were willing to get us a working furnace. I signed the contract for the new heat pump with a ten year parts and labor warranty, nearly $10,000. The Pinnacle techs came the next day, performed the install and we had heat again. So far, so good...right? Fast forward six months. We receive a letter in the mail from Pinnacle. The letter is contract for bi-annual maintenance services, nearly $300 a year. The letter states that the maintenance contract is required for the warranty to be valid. Nowhere in the original contract that I signed did it state that there was a required maintenance contract for the ten year life of the warranty. This adds approximately $3000 to the cost of ownership of the furnace. Pinnacle tells me that I do not need to purchase the maintenance contract, but in the next sentence tells me that the warranty that I paid for will be void. Pinnacle has put us in a no win situation. We were sold something, six months later we find out that what we purchased will cost us more money every year. Do I swallow my pride and write them a check for $300 every year, or stand my ground and not give them another penny? In the end, they win either way. To make matters worse, Pinnacle knows exactly the situation they are putting their customers in. Hopefully this helps other potential Pinnacle customers avoid the deceitful business practices. In good faith I could not and would not recommend anyone using Pinnacle for their heating and cooling needs.

Appliances are mismatched and very old, originals from when the place was built in the early 90's. Small dishwasher, tall plates or glasses won't fit. Microwave is extremely tiny, has no turn table, and I would estimate it to be about 500 watts... Faucets are all original and leak. I'm not sure how to even explain the shower head, I've never seen anything like it before, look at the photo. Fridge is small, and freezes the food in certain spots. The sink is horrible, it is too shallow to wash pots in, and the faucet does not arch at all. It sticks straight out and is very low, which makes washing dishes even more miserable. I would rather not even have a fireplace than the one we have. Takes up space, has a PINK tile border and base, and the "mantle" is just a tiny piece of wood attached to the wall 2 feet above the fireplace. Looks horrible and will not hold a TV. That area of my apt is an embarrassing eyesore and I keep a bookcase covering it. Fixtures in the apartment are nonmatching. We have a silver towel rack, silver robe hook, and a white plastic hand towel ring in our bathroom. Door knobs are gold. Light switch plates are 80's IBM beige. The management needs to update these units. It's a shame the place can't be torn down and replaced with something nicer from a better company, because the location is the best spot to live in the whole city.

Treat everyone fairly! I picked up this scent pack you could mix in with the paint to act as an air freshener. The guy asked if I wanted that mixed in with the paint. I said, ''Sure!'', with a smile! He grabbed the packed of paint scent, and with an annoyed sigh grabbed my 2 small buckets of paint, and went back in room to mix it in. I didn't even know they could do that. If it was going to be such a bad problem, I could have done it myself at home. No biggie to me, but to them, it was asking too much from a customer that clearly didn't belong in their store. He rang me up. Overpriced. And they didn't carry the paint brush I needed. I asked them where I could find it at. They replied with ''I don't know.'' Like they didn't want nor care to talk to me. Fine. I know how small town and small businesses mentalities are. I went back the day after because I liked the packet of paint scent and wanted to another one for my other color of paint. This time the guy talked and gave me his opinion on what I asked for. He compromised and did a good job. The lady there who made it a very uncomfortable atmosphere the first day actually engaged in conversation the second day with me after I initiated what the customer service employee should have. It was not busy in the store. Anyways, they gave me what I wanted and I left.
