So far I was quoted 10k-15 to get the DV and divorce complete... I have given 25k and we have burned through $19,553.20 My life is in your hands...... and plain and clear..... As an attorney with over 15 years of law firm and in house experience, I have never witnessed such unprofessionalism from an attorney. Her behavior and lack of any empathy or awareness give lawyers a bad name. She was condescending in person in 2020, when we came in to wet-sign our documents. After some abuse, we called her out on her tone and conduct, and she duly apologized. Six years later, it's disappointing to see that she has made no effort to improve her conduct over the years. We recently asked for copies of past estate documents; rather than respond with a simple and professional "I didn't retain them past X time period" her response included verbatim "I am sorry I cannot meet your deadline. I am too busy. Further, I do not appreciate messages from AI. I am too busy to decipher." Contrast this to our Colorado attorney: "It's nice to hear from you, I hope you're doing well. We do not have the signed copies of your original documents. You can click here to access unsigned copies of your documents (the password is the last 4 digits of the phone number we have on file). I tried to find an attorney several days before Christmas and the entire industry was out of service until the second week of January. I believe my wife took my children that week specifically to make it very challenging for me, but Bob stepped up and saved the day in a huge way.
