John didn't call me back until 7pm when our appointment was supposed to be over claiming he was looking for us at 6:20, so why did he not answer my phone calls? Why did he not try to reach out? I emailed them and I'm assuming it was his wife replied and was very very rude to me, insisting it was our fault we don't understand their building and were in the wrong spot when we tried to communicate with them about where we were. Lisa is friendly and nice but is not a good therapist. When I had a mental health emergency she was…read moreunable to direct me to resources that could help. We had a suicidal ideation event in the family and she was unable to discuss this topic and did not actually listen to the problem. She does not listen well and frequently changes the subject when you're speaking on a subject that matters to you. She does not delve deeper into subjects that are a clear cause of distress for you. She still dresses in what appears to be her teen daughter's clothing and has blue streaks in her hair. When it's decided that the relationship is not therapeutic and your cat would be a better therapist, she doesn't help you to find another therapist to see for treatment. She also often discusses material that is not important especially during a crisis. Again, she is very peppy and upbeat but not an effective therapist. She also specializes in addictions and acupuncture for addictions (but she has about 2 resources on addiction on her bookshelf).
