The bartender offered us freshly sliced dried meats with the slicer available right on the side of the bar, something I have never seen in the USA. She served us these salty, thinly sliced pieces of meat alongside our cocktails, most likely in hopes of us ordering more! Everything about this bar is inviting. The cozy seating areas, the bar itself, and even the bathrooms are stunning. It is a perfect blend of the "old feel" of Switzerland synthesized with modern decor, so tastefully done. Whenever back in Zermatt, we will be certain to stop here, but don't hold your breath... that's gonna take quite a bit of saving up and planning as this is not a cheap area to visit.
