My tie was broken by Country Cleaners.
    Jake N.

Poor customer service. Their cleaning is decent but I had an issue with my order (they broke my tie). It was clearly packaged that the tie was broken - however I was not given a heads up. I only discovered it after I arrived home. I gave them a call. "Karrie" answered the phone. "Yeah that happens sometimes. Bring it in." Well I live an hour away - a "oh gosh I'm so sorry!" would have been nice. Especially since it was apparent this tie was broken as it was packaged. Don't expect things in a rush - and don't expect them to come back to you in one piece.

Fantastic service! Super friendly staff, excellent prices, and great cleaning quality. This is the only place we use for dry cleaning!

DO NOT EVER use Lemon Drop Cleaners in Hayden, Idaho for ALTERATIONS!…read more I took a pair a $150.00 dress slacks to be hemmed to a 29 inch inseam. Two weeks later when I picked them up, they had been hemmed to a 30.5 inch inseam. Additionally, the hem was not even finished. There was a place almost 5 inches long that had NOT been sewn down. The excess hem had not been removed, nor had the new hem been ironed down. A big mess! Sadly, I had purchased these pants to take on a trip. When I returned the slacks to the cleaners, I was told it would take another two weeks to re-do them. Unacceptable as I was leaving on a trip. I asked for my money back as I was going to have to take them elsewhere to have the work done. I was told I could not get my money back as Lemon Drop had already paid the alterations lady!!! This was clearly their mistake NOT mine. The counter person said they would get with the owner to see what could be done. They came back & said they could re-do them & have them back in time for my trip. I picked them up today. They did re-do them with a sweatpant type hem! And STILL NOT a 29 inch inseam, nor were the legs even, nor were they pressed down. At this point I will have to wear them dragging the floor (just lovely for a formal night on a cruise!) & once I return, take them somewhere else to see if they can be salvaged.

I was told that they weren't sure how much it would cost to repair it but that somebody would get back to me shortly and let me know the cost. Multiple weeks later I called to find out what was going on because I had not heard from them. I was told that they did not know where my futon cover had gone. They have two different people that they use for repairs and they weren't sure who had it. I thought that this was completely reckless with people's property to not track something like that. I was told that somebody would get back to me shortly and let me know what was going on. Another couple of weeks later I called again and was told that they didn't know anything and they would have to look into it. Another couple of weeks later I called again and once again I was told that this is the first time they had heard of my situation but that they would look into it and get back to me. Nobody ever contacted me during the month and a half to tell me what was going on. I finally went in and there was a young girl at the counter. I asked her what was going on and she said she had no idea, but she would get back to me. I told her that I have heard that multiple times and nobody ever gets back to me and I'm getting very frustrated with the fact that they have had my futon cover for over two months now with no feedback. I finally got a call from Steven who I believe is one of the owners. He said that they had placed my item in the wrong place and an outside company that does restoration for them took my futon cover multiple hours away to get fixed when they had nothing to do with it. The owner then told me that he had to drive multiple hours to get my futon cover back and made it seem like it was my fault that he had to do that. He also told me that I was very rude to his daughter. I don't feel I was rude, just rightly frustrated and shared that frustration with her when they continued to have no answers for me. When I finally went in to pick up my futon cover, there were two people in front of me inside the lobby and one person waiting in the drive-through. I heard the person behind the counter say to all three of them that somebody took an unexpected two month vacation and that they had other employees that just didn't wanna work, and none of their items were ready. All this combined, I'm wondering how they're still in business. On top of that they have one phone number that rings at both of their Hayden and Coeur d'Alene locations and you never know which location will pick up and if you get the wrong location, they have no idea what you're talking about. I have never had such horrible customer service in my 59 years of life, and I have over 30 years of experience in customer service. Mistakes can happen, but how you recover can fix the situation, and they apparently never learned this.
