I found this business and I was able to get an appointment very easily through their website. The staff were very sweet and asked me lots of questions throughout the first appointment. They were very clear with what they would be doing to the dress and went through exactly what I was paying for. I picked my dress up today and it was perfect! Exactly as I wanted. Worst business I have ever encountered. My wife brought my wedding suit, her wedding dress and several other items to this place to have them professionally dry cleaned and preserved. They absolutely destroyed my suit. The leather pieces are completely gone, the suit appears stretched in the front and is no longer crisp. I think they ran it through an industrial washing machine vs dry cleaning it like we paid for. It's beyond repair. They also destroyed my wife's jacket. All the rhinestones are gone. It appears they ran this through a washing machine too instead of dry cleaning. Both items are ruined. We paid them over $1000 to handle all our items. They never disclosed the damage to us. There's no way they didn't see it. They told my wife they take before and after pictures of everyone but strangly they refused to show them to us. They accused my wife of "bringing the items in already damaged." This is the wost service we have ever experienced. They have made zero effort to resolve this issue and have not contacted us back at all. Do not use them. read more

This is a small shop in a rundown shopping center. There isn't much in there for dresses but we went to have a wedding dress deep cleaned and boxed up. It was $180 to box it and total was $620 including taxes. I was shocked at how much it is now to clean and store wedding dresses. read more

I had a last-minute moment of panic about my wedding dress and urgently purchased a new one that I liked much better. However, they didn't have my size so it was too small. With only 9 days until my wedding I was in full-panic mode. Greenacres Alterations was the only company who responded to my cry for help. They got me in the next day for a fitting. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful! They were able to hem the 5 layers of tulle, modify the back to expand it/remove part of the zipper, and adjust the straps! They did all of this with extreme care and detail and got it done in only 7 days!!! I was able to pick up my dress 2 days before the wedding which decreased my stress level significantly. I wanted to really give a positive review. I thought the shop was very clean, staff was very polite. But I went back today to pick up 3 pairs of pants, that needed some alterations, all had elastic waistbands. 1 of the three was fine. 1 I can't do anything about, sweatpants, with a band at the ankle. One leg is shorter than the other, and the third is way to short.I'm going to have to try and fix, by lowering the waistband and thus lengthening the legs. Have changed hours so it's hard to schedule ones time based on their new business hours. They are by far the only cleaners that will press a duvet in the Spokane area. They do a wonderful job with my duvets. They are a bit speedy. My black (yes, black!) cotton drapes with magnolia and dogwood flowers had caught an impressive amount of dust including parakeet feather debris in the five years since I moved into this house. I looked for a local dry cleaner and found this one. I called to ask about their prices and that was okay and besides, they offered pick up and drop off service. I had already planned to go somewhere that took me right past their store conveniently located in the Valley so I dropped of the drapes myself but had the finished drapes delivered. It only took a few days and the finished drapes look good. I don't have any price comparison but I can say I think the price was reasonable and I felt like I got a good deal. This cleaner is not close by, yet it received a good Yelp rating. It was also indicated as pricey. It offered to provide a quote. I requested a quote for a very specific article that I was more interested in a good job and would have been happy to pay a little more to get a good job. They stated I would have to bring the article into their shop to receive a quote. I then just requested a price range, based on the very specific description of the article that I had provided. I am new to the area, and wanted to support the local cleaners. I paid $40.16 (out the door) to have 1 suit and 2 pairs of pants cleaned. Although I don't use cleaners very often, I thought that was quite a lot of money. Possibly I am out of touch with what it costs to clean. I think I will try some other cleaners before going back to see how they compare. The clothes were ready when I picked them up and appear to be clean and nicely pressed. Would like to have hours posted. Forgot to pick up on Friday, and wanted to know hours on Saturday before driving there. Phone was not answered.
