In previous years I found more Illinois/regional items or small business items that I'd be happier to give my money towards. The staff working here were supremely nice and I spent wayyyy too much money. I suggest stopping in if you want some décor, healing crystals, or jewelry. If you're looking for Starved Rock themed souvenirs like magnets or snow globes, the Starved Rock Visitor Center is the place to go. The Rock and Soul's offerings are a bit more classy!

I visit gem shops all over the country, and this was such a beautiful experience. The vibe was peaceful, and the collection was vast and awe-striking. We were able to watch them mine/ clean gems. They have so many different exotic gems here. Thank you for being so welcoming and kind to us. P.S. My little boys love the little first-time freebie.
