I booked this florist for my daughter's wedding almost a year in advance. I worked with Mary for months establishing exactly what my daughter wanted for her wedding. The day before the wedding I found out that Mary would not be setting up the flowers at all. She was having an assistant do them instead as she was busy that day. She assured me that there would be no problems, and that this assistant was well-versed in putting out a good product. There was remnants of a hurricane moving through the area and we had to make some major adjustments to our location for the ceremony which caused additional adjustments for the flowers as well. I don't know if there was a lack of communication or something else but many things did not get done in the way Mary and I had discussed over the phone. Floral colors were different than we had planned in certain areas, entire garlands were not re-purposed where they should have been, ceremony flowers that were to be draped across the bride and groom's sweetheart table were left on the floor and even fell over at one point which the florist never noticed as she walked off. This had to be fixed by one of my guests. In addition, we rented charger plates and napkins and those didn't arrive to the venue until very late as they seemed to forget to drop them off at the reception hall. The day of coordinator had to go and retrieve them from the florist. I was truly shocked by what happened as I had been impressed with Mary's attention to detail up to this point. I think she passed along the responsibility to someone who was not ready for the task especially with the change of venue. The bridesmaid's bouquets and groomsmen's boutonnières were about the only things that were done exactly as discussed. I reached out to Mary several times asking to discuss what happened and she replied only once via email that she was so sorry. I asked to connect with her on the phone and never heard from her. At this point I'm just disappointed to have spent so much money and have so many things miss the mark. I don't expect perfection but when there is a list of 6-8 things that were not correct, I felt I needed to warn others. I will be looking for additional places to share this review and have let the Inn know about my dissatisfaction. read more

i give the a one star rating only because there is nothing lower. i had a floral arrangement delivered for a funeral. half the flowers were dead. others in our family used this same florist and they had dead flowers as well. i called to find out why and the person i spoke to blamed it on the the funeral home. i work with flowers so i know there is things that can be done to have them last a little long ... like maybe use fresh flowers. if you order from here....dont send them to anyone you like. read more

My sister and I went into Country Garden and Florist Saturday 8-20-16 to pick out some flowers for our Mother who had just passed away. The funeral home told us about two florist. So we picked this one. We went in and the door was open. We step inside and the lady starts hollering we are closed. I am doing training and I have another event, without letting us tell her we don't need these until Wednesday. She never gave us the opportunity to tell her anything. Shame on you for letting a grieving family leave without even saying you were sorry! You can go back up the street to the The Flower Center and Aaron will take great care of you! My family and friends needed flower arrangements for a funeral. We decided on this shop and were so pleased. They were understanding of our situation during the ordering process with a large group of mourners. They were generous with suggestions, allowing my sister to even go into the refrigerator to view color and options available on the short notice. A 10 minute order before close of store was filled as quickly as those earlier in the day. The resulting arrangements were bountiful with extra little touches and the freshest of flowers. Each arrangement was individualized maintaining our requested color scheme. I would not hesitate to use this shop again hopefully for a happy occasion. read more
