What stood out for us is around the holidays we display a large animated Mr. and Mrs. Claus, and the street lamp that we bought with the set is much too small and cheap looking to accompany our quite good looking pair. In the window of this store, we eyed a beautiful Victorian-inspired street post that was the perfect size, and it just fit in the back of the convertible! The worker had to call the owner since this was more of a store fixture than something they really thought someone would purchase, but they happily obliged and we were on our way. Love it when you can score a great find from a unique little shop owned by nice folks. Pop in if you're near.

Requesting to use the restroom for a child in need should never be refused to the Circle K .50 mile down the road when it's 93 degrees. The public restroom in the visitors bldg. was not available because it was closed for the holiday weekend. The woman was clearly too engaged in her holiday gossip to see the stressful look on our faces after we explained our previous attempted to access the public facility in the Pine Mtn. Visitors Center. The denial was one thing but the rude, and inconsiderate behavior from the women at the desk was disgusting. My husband and I have visited Pine Mtn. several times, he was once a local resident so proud of his community and the radiant GA Hospitality. Unfortunately, this trip we've not been able to embrace the area with the same fondness we once did.
