The indoor pool was nice which I used. It was lukewarm and I didn't mind that but there was a couple of bugs/spiders around. My room had a musky smell too. Tbh if reminded me of feet. But my coworkers said their rooms smelled fine. So not sure if my room just didn't get aired out enough. Continental breakfast was okay. Very typical very basic continental breakfast that I ended up eating my leftovers as breakfast one morning. But it did seem like there was 24-7 coffee and tea which was nice.

We are Lifetime Platinum members with Marriott, which is not a status that comes from a paid…read moreupgrade--it's earned after years of consistent loyalty. One of the key benefits is a guaranteed late checkout up to 4 PM at all non-resort/non-convention hotels. When we checked in yesterday, we requested a 3 PM late checkout and were told it was confirmed. Despite that, housekeeping knocked on our door at 8:30 AM trying to enter, long before even the standard 12 PM checkout. Then, the front desk informed us we must leave by noon because the hotel is sold out. This is a direct violation of Marriott's published policy. Customer service at Marriott corporate even contacted the hotel to remind them they were required to honor it, but management still refused. It's extremely disappointing and disrespectful to loyal guests. Beyond the policy issue, our stay has been disappointing in other ways: * Rude hotel staff: When bringing this matter to the attention of both the representative working at the front desk and supervisor consistently wouldn't allow us to finish sentences, interrupting constantly so we wouldn't be allowed to speak. This didn't happen just one time in conversation, it was every single sentence with both the front desk, representative and later, their supervisor. * Bathroom cleanliness: The bathroom floor had sticky residue spots that had clearly not been cleaned. * Room amenities not stocked: There were no cups provided for the coffee machine. * Unsanitary hairdryer: The hairdryer was fully covered in sticky, grimy residue--there is no way to hold it without your hands sticking to it. * EV charger unreliable: We specifically booked this property because it offered EV charging. We plugged in overnight, but the charger shut off at midnight without explanation. Now we're left with a long drive and an uncharged car. Each of these things individually seems so small and wouldn't normally be a big deal at all. However, between the disregard for Marriott's guaranteed benefits, lack of cleanliness, missing amenities, and unreliable facilities, this has been one of the worst hotel experiences we've had in years of travel. We will be escalating this to Marriott corporate, but future guests should be aware of what they may encounter here.

The…read morerooms were clean (except the bathroom, where some stray hairs were left in the show); the complimentary breakfast was filling and varied slightly each day; the pool was warm and fun to swim in; and the room was generally quiet. Some niggles: - the pillows are terrible and collapse into nothing under your head; - the pool area sometimes ran out of towels so you had to go to the front desk for more; - you could hear people in the hall (that is the case with every hotel I guess); - we could hear the people above us walking around; and - they do room service every other day, so you may find yourself unexpectedly without clean towels; But, the location and rates fit our family's needs perfectly and we enjoyed our stay. If we are in the area, we will be back.

I need a handicap room because of my wheelchair and service dog. My handicap room is on the second floor. My friend, service dog and I plus two backpacks, barely fit on the elevator, I had to take my service dog off leash and let him on first so I could back up because there was no room to turn around. Then when we got the our room the door way is a tight fit and my friend had to push the kitchen chairs out of the way for me. The room is very nice just not entirely handicap friendly because of the kitchen table and chairs I can't access the fridge/ sink or drawers and the bed is higher then my wheelchair which can make transferring harder.

I stayed at the Red Roof Inn which I booked via Expedia, June 12-14 at 4820 W. Henrietta Road,…read moreHenrietta, NY 14467. I reserved a King "Deluxe" room (Smoke Free). The first room I was given smelled of marijuana and was dirty. The second room I was given was only marginally better in that there was no smell of marijuana. However, the room smelled of stale cigarettes and mold. The room was also very dirty. I had to clean the AC with a washcloth before turning it on to remove the grime, hair and grease. There was grit and dirt all around the sink. The bathroom floor had grit around the toilet bowl, and the bathtub is starting to rust on the bottom. The floor in the main portion of the room was also dirty with grit and dusty in the corners. There appeared to be a fan on the wall, but it was stuffed with a plastic bag. The wall behind the desk chair is peeling, the wall beneath the sink mirror is peeling, and the light above the sink has exposed wires. There were no hangars. The linens on the bed were stained. Friday night I got very little sleep because of the odor of the room. Saturday night I purchased an air freshener/deodorizer in the hopes that would help mitigate the odor. It did, but barely. All in all, this was not what I expected for a room advertising itself as "Deluxe". This entire property is extremely rundown, with peeling paint and rotten wood showing. Sunday morning, at check out, I showed the desk clerk the pictures I had taken on my phone and asked for a refund. He said he would have the manager call me, but I have heard nothing. I also did not receive a receipt. I reached out to the Guest Reservations of Red Roof Inn and they replied twice with apologies and an offer of points, which I rejected as I would not ever want to stay at any of their properties. I asked for a refund. The last email I received said there was nothing more they can do and are closing my claim. Needless to say this is not good customer relations or god customer satisfaction. I will never stay at any of their hotels. If there had been any availability at other hotels in the area I would have booked elsewhere.

Do NOT BOOK with them or be fooled by the cheap rates, there's a reason and honestly we should have known, 20 bucks more will get you much better service and save you the headache and now me and my boyfriend don't have a place to stay and are looking last minute because they didn't want to accept a service animal which is against the law... will be filing a formal complaint with the state but just save yourself...

The hotel itself isn't anything to brag about but it's decent.. we did have an issue with someone blasting the music so loud the floors and walls shook. They took care of it. Unfortunatly it was recurring so the sleep wasn't that good both nights. The rooms are ok. Not the cleanest but acceptable. You'll find some missed corners with dirt and found garbage behind the shower toiletry dispenser. Nothing major but could be better. Beds were comfy and the linens and towels are bleach cleaned. You can smell it. The fixtures are dated so bring your own charging cables and don't expect to use usb here. The only ones are on the alarm clocks and plugging a cord in makes the clock make strange noises and the plugs on top didnt work.. I ended up plugging in the wall.. next time I'll bring a surge protector and extras. This is clearly a dorm and not really a motel/hotel. You hear running in the halls, slammed doors, chanting, etc anything reminiscent of a college dorm. That explains the graffiti and broken fixtures. It's an older property and for the price it was fine. They did mess me up though. Was scheduled for an airport shuttle and confirmed but they didn't tell me they didn't run on the weekends so I'm waiting and no ride. If I didn't have a ride share app I would have been out of luck. This issue pushed me 30 minutes off schedule and made me almost miss the check in time. Im really dreamed about that because someone should have told me. No apologies or explanations. Just fugue it out yourself even though we are the ones that messed up. Would I stay here again? If the first day staff was working. The rest were not as friendly or helpful. After careful reflection, this is q college town. I came for medical but most everyone else is here for the schools so with that in mind; this place was in line with whats ro be expected. I think I would rather go to another hotel or motel without the students and atmosphere if I can find one. I also found out the person blasting the music is hearing impaired. I felt bad for complaining but it was really loud and disrupted my sleep. So if this is something you can overlook then maybe it is a good option. But for someone who likes the peace and quiet and consideration then perhaps other places will work better. Final thought, the hot water was out for several hours Friday night. I got a very room temp shower at about 8 after trying for hours. I realized that was the best it would be and got it over with. Very low water pressure with warmish water was not a great experience. First night water temp was great with low pressure.
