Overall the school environment has a genuine warmth and community feel. We couldn't have asked for a better preschool experience for our children from ages 2-5 y/o.

I fell in love with the beautiful classrooms and the educational philosophy. But the reality is that the administration makes it a miserable environment for teachers and parents, and therefor children as well. I had prepared my child mentally for attending CCG for over a year during the pandemic, and we were the schools biggest fans. If someone had told me somethin negative about the school, I would not have listened and would want to believe that it was a wonderful place. A place cannot be good for children if it treats children with disregard and families are met with hostility. There's nothing I can do to take back the immense stress that was caused to my family and child. Please look elsewhere, save your family the stress. I too read a bad review, but wanted to believe it was just one disgruntled person. It is not worth putting your child in the hands of an act. Go to the Groton Community School instead, or a small intimate daycare in a neighboring town, or get a nanny. Anything else but CCG.

The owners and staff are truly exceptional--warm, nurturing, and genuinely invested in every child. There's a genuine family feel at Family Tree, and we've formed lasting connections. As a school psychologist, I've been consistently impressed by the center's thoughtful curriculum and the way social-emotional learning is seamlessly woven into the day. The focus on school readiness--academically, socially, and emotionally--gave our kids such a strong foundation. They also loved the amazing crafts, engaging science projects, and hands-on learning experiences that sparked their curiosity and creativity. We're so grateful for the years we spent at Family Tree--they gave our children such a loving, enriching start. And we're not alone--every Family Tree family we've met has felt the same deep appreciation. If you're looking for a place to truly entrust with your child's care and early learning, I couldn't recommend Family Tree more highly.

Completely opposite experience with my son. Due to high staff turnover, my son was not able to receive the care and support that my daughter did. After a dozen evaluations recommended by leadership, my son was not diagnosed with any developmental deficiencies or behavioral problems and did not qualify for special needs or IEP programs. The frequency that I was contacted to complain about my son doing things that are age appropriate (bathroom accidents, sensory processing, not sitting still during circle time, etc) was astoundingly unnecessary, we chose to place him in a different childcare center as there is a pattern of toddler boys being terminated for similar and worse reasons.

Not to mention that more than 80% of the staff are brought on to the company with little to know experience in childcare at all and do not have the proper safety qualifications to be in a classroom. The Learning Experience prides itself on its curriculum and enrichment program, yet NONE of it is actually being applied in classrooms and with students. The Center Directors (Lynn Wheeler) daily motto is to "Roll the Dice" and "Fake it til you make it!" Constantly putting up a facade and a rushed together presentation for families, cooperate and the franchise owners any time they make an in person visit. This company is constantly trying to convince the families, the staff and the public of how well they have their company established yet everything is completely falling apart behind the scenes. Staff members are overworked, underpaid, forced to work over time hours because of lack of staffing, the Center Director does not clearly communicate with staff and holds favoritism with particular staff members. The Learning Experience is certainly an unforgettable experience and one that I personally would never wish to remember. A company that has no regard for other peoples well-being, a company consumed with selfish administrators and leaders, with no regard to acknowledge the efforts, sacrifices and willingness put forth by staff members and no regard for the parents that are oblivious to the reality of what is the disgraceful TLE of Littleton MA.

We were apprehensive about sending him to daycare, but it was immediately clear that he was in a safe, loving environment. Everyone on the team was genuinely happy to see him each day. They showed interest in the things that were important to him and incorporated his interests into his learning and development. From a logistics standpoint, staff were communicative, responsive, and attentive. The team handled our child's multiple food allergies professionally and confidently. We received detailed, personal updates daily. Even teachers and staff that weren't in his classroom knew our child and supported his growth and learning. They were flexible and supportive when we needed to change his schedule for several months to accommodate a family emergency, and were open to amenable to our preferences with big milestones (e.g., potty training). I'm not the type to write reviews, but I couldn't let my child leave Acorn without offering the kind of input I wish I'd had when we were first researching daycare options. Highly recommend this lovely team.

To begin with, I applied here as an infant teacher and later found out that teachers were not following safety procedures such as hand washing with the children and leaving teachers out of ratio. As a child care professional, I have always washed children's hands after their diaper changes even in the infant classroom. Also, when I worked with one of the floating staff, she placed a one year old in a time out! When these concerns were brought to the head teacher and office, we did not see eye to eye. The owners and director blamed me for "gossiping." Which is completely opposite for what I was doing. Next, they do not take the infants outside! I tried to stress with the staff how important it is to get these children outside for fresh air. The children were bored. There were not many activities for them to keep busy. In conclusion, I was out sick one day and I sent a message an hour before my shift. The office gave me a hard time because I did not message them two hours before. I was unable to send them a message out there specific time, but made sure I messaged them as soon as I could. I was let go in an unprofessional manner and was not given any warnings before the day that they let me go. A week or two before my dismissal date I asked the head teacher and office how things were going overall with me and everybody said that I was doing a great job. Beware and do your research before accepting a job at this establishment.
