They sell great brands that are orthodically the best brands you can buy to maximize the chance to ensure wellness for your tired feet. Arch issues, bunions, hammertoes, wide, toe issues...sandals, boots, closed toe, golf, walking, etc...Birkenstock, Dansko clogs, Keen, Klogs, Earth, Ecco, Clarks, SAS, Naot, New Balance...THEY HAVE A GREAT SELECTION! I was surprised to find the quality and quantity of shoes in a store like this in Terre Haute. They may not have every pair in stock to sell you off the shelf, but the staff can order anything you want. The staff is welcoming, friendly and a touch aggressive to get you into a shoe to sell you. When I was a kid, my mom would offer up $20 to the salesperson who could find a pair of shoes that fit, didn't hurt my feet, and that I liked. So when I got new orthotic insoles recently, I was prepared for more of the same. I decided to give Heel to Toe a try because I saw that they also do orthotics, so I figured if anyone could help, it would be these folks. They did not disappoint! While I didn't find anything in the store that day, the staff was so incredibly helpful I knew I had to buy from them somehow. They took the time to measure my feet (turns out they're wider than I thought), talk to me about my issues and what I wanted, look in the back for overlooked shoes, and then finally brought me manufacturer catalogues so I could order them. They knew which shoes would be likely to work and which wouldn't, which saved me a ton of time and frustration. I ended up buying two pairs of boots, and they both still look and feel amazing. A lot of the shoe stores at this outlet minus Nike have buy one get one 50% off. Most of the shoes are really 10-20 dollars off manufacture price. You would expect greater savings at the outlets, but not the case here. There were some kids/baby shoes that were selling for 40+ dollars. So you end up having to buy 2 to get about 30-40% off both shoes which is not really that good of a deal. My MIL and husband and I went into Fleet Feet Bloomington today to purchase gym shoes- we are going to attempt to begin running. We were happily greeted by Dave. My husband was helped by Dave, I was helped by Karin, and my MIL was helped by Julie. To our surprise they measured our feet in numerous manners, examined our feet as we walked, and picked out shoes that they believe would suit our specified feet and walk. Boy do they know their stuff!!! For me, Karin had me try on different shoes and genuinely cared about how my feet felt in them. She even had me walk outside! (which I thought was odd, but makes sense because it is a different surface than inside the store). She explained why the certain brand of shoe and style of shoe makes the most sense for my feet (darn wide feet) and continuously asked how my feet felt in them. She even took a care in what I do for a living (I'm a teacher) and made sure that the style of shoe would fit my lifestyle. The store overall was in immaculate condition and incredibly clean. Every person in the store was exceptionally nice and cared about me and my feet. Shoes were not as expensive as I imagined... my pair of gym shoes was a little over $100. For me and my family, no more purchasing gym shoes at Dick's Sporting Goods or Kohls. We will forever and always continue to go to Fleet Feet!!
