Apparently, each little area is rented by a separate seller, so their selection is varied & is gigantic. The women working the front counter were SO sweet, & honestly, retirement goals. They held our items for us while we shopped, & were super chatty while we checked out, we loved it. Overall, I'd say there's a wide range of pricing for items (likely due to the fact that they're sold by different people). There were definitely some things that I passed on due to the price, but others were super reasonable. Even if you're not looking for anything specific, this spot would absolutely make you leave with a new purchase! I don't get down to Jordan much (this was honestly my first time lol), but I will absolutely be back, if only for this awesome store!

J & E is, basically, 2 large heated pole buildings that are packed with antique furniture. It's a residential neighborhood. The storage buildings are behind the house of Lonnie, the owner. Since this is his home, he's open by appointment. I didn't realize until I talked to him for a while that Lonnie used to be one of the owners of J & E in St. Paul. They were on Arcade, near the 3M plant for decades! This is where everything went after they closed - Lonnie's pole buildings. After decade in the business, Lonnie really knows his stuff. This stuff aint cheap. There's hardly anything under $1000. Many of the pieces are in the $3000, $4000, and $5000 price range. And some items are 6 figures, like huge early 1900s bars with carved wood and stained glass. If you like this style and if you have a big enough wallet, I suggest you stop by. Lonnie is getting up there in years. He won't be around forever. But you can buy it now and it's only a short drive from the Twin Cities. BTW, Lonnie is a really nice guy. His prices are reasonable and he always has great pieces in stock. I saw another reviewer complain about there not always being prices and the clothes piles he keeps in the front/back of the shop. I thought this was funny because it's my favorite part about this place! The owner is super fair with his pricing and gives a discount if you're buying more than one item. I also love sitting there and going through the pile of clothes before he's had the chance to price everything and hang it up for everyone to see. I have gotten some of my favorite vintage finds from the piles and paid about half, if not less, than I would at any other shop in town. Thank you for doing what you do!
