He realized the vent pipe was disconnected from the dryer and lint had accumulated inside the dry creating a real fire hazard. He took it upon himself to open up the dryer and clean out the lint inside the dryer and also reconnect the vent pipe and secured it with a screw. Peter really only needed to clean the vent but being the professional that he is he went over and above. Importantly he did all this and did so being very fair with his pricing. On the day of, his text messages was spotty at best. He suggested a time, and then messaged an hour before that appointment saying he will be late. At that point, I'm done waiting and we agreed that he will come by the place the next day to check out the chimney while the painter is working to patch up the place. He didn't show. If you decide to hire him, it appears he values his time way more than his prospects or clients so beware.

Not only did they identify the problem straight away, it was fixed immediately and the repair cost was more than reasonable. We finally could use our woodburning stove again.
